I have installed this hack on 4.1.11 and nothing has happened ??

I have set the setting to what i want and had people try to trip the detector but I get nothing ??

I dont have the hacks installed with known issues.

This works on 4.1.11; but am worried as the Developer was Last Online since Oct 2011... We need someone to take care of this and keep it updated for vB4 users.

Works in 4.1.3 however some of the features do not work.

This causes an issue if you have https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=247399 installed and a duplicate user registers.

On a new user's registration it shows the error message as if a user tried to post a link (which I think is caused by the system trying to create a thread for a duplicate user per this modification).

Will install this on a VB 4.2 board and report if it doesn't work. This worked a treat on my VB 3.8 board, a must-have weapon against the hordes!

This is one of my all time favorit mods. Yes, it can be tricked, but eventually it catches the bad ones. Works just fine with 4.2. Only thing i wish for is that dev on thisone could resume.

Also, as mentioned before, if the "ever-cookie" code could be implemented, that would be it.

I'm concerned as my site is now informed by the new Chrome browser version as having malware.

I was assuming that that "double cookie" may not look good under some browser's eyes.

Do anyone have any idea of how to avoid it?

For me the plugin sends a PM but it stopped posting to a forum.
It did it before but it stopped doing it a couple of days ago and I have no idea why and how to debug this.

the posting function of Multi Account Detection does not work anymore!

Great mod, but i checked and there one weakness: On the same computer, create a user account on Chrome browser, continued to make another account on firefox browser or any browser, this mod cannot detect multiple accounts.
Hope Author fix it because i like this mod

Author couldn't fix this, because this mod uses cookies for detection and this is how cookies work.

But, there could be solution, if evercookies are implemented, which, as it could be obvious, aren't regular cookies.

No, there is no modification made like this for vB5, sadly, there is very few mods for vB5. :(

Not correct working in 4.2.0 because showing wrong users ip i mean same ip showing in 2 to 5 users but i will check and ips are different :(

AFAIK, it works in vB 4.2.3 (all version of vB4).

Thing is, it's basic code, not tightly connected with vB version (templates and such). On the other hand, probably someone with vB 4.2.3 who use it (or tried to use it) can confirm or deny it.

It works fine here on vBulletin 4.2.3.

I know this mod is not meant for vbulletin 4 but i have been reading that its worked on some.I am using 4.2.1

I uploaded all the files no problem and then imported the plugin

I then went to options and set the correct options for the plugin.

I then tested it.I logged out of my forum registered a test account then when i went to log on i couldn't i was greeted with an error message.I actually had to go into my config file and disable the plugins as that was the only way i could get back on lol

Given that the coder has not been online for over two years, I dont expect it to get updates for any version.
