or there has to be some form of logic used when vbulletin creates the thread.... would it not be possible to use the same logic to get the thread id even if it doesnt exist yet?

for what purpose?

So that people can goto their facebook profile or in our case to view the public area of their Facebook Game account. It currently has to be done by the user manually, some people have trouble working out what their Facebook id is though (facebook users arent always the most computer literate)

Oh and additionally how do I change the Facebook connect buttons back, those AJAX ones with the loading bars are causing major trouble for some people. The plain graphics were much better (might be useful if you could have an option in admin to set either to the Ajax ones or the plain image ones)

question: what happens to current users who have facebook? will there sign ins work with there current info and there facebook info? Or will they have to use there facebook info from the time its is installed? Also will you go back and redo it when you add updates?

What was removed was the offering of paid services. The removal of the instructions where just collateral damage.

yah um... definetly jumping the gun... give silk some time man... you can usually find fraud from the paid services forum... not someone frauding customers of his own mod... and it still is the holidays for alot of peeps till jan.5th...

anyhow.. silk has been good so far... so just be patient...

fraud and vb.org is another story all together and they have failed to crack down on it in the other forums... vb.org doesn't publish fraudsters and have took the stance of "there are two sides of story"... not sure if they are still singing that song but that discussion is for another forum...

so anyway i went to your site and saw that you have it installed. how is it working for you? I noticed you made mention of a few bugs. i see it on frontpage but when i goto register, the option to use facebook is not there

Only one I ever encountered was a redirect issue when logging in that has since been fixed in one of the past upgrades.

what about the fact that when i go to register to your site i dont see the facebook option?

I don't know what you mean. It shows up for me just fine FF and IE.

I do see it where you enter your name and pw but i do not see it when i click register. i click register and get enter bday then accept rules then fill out name , pw, game you play , etc but no facebook option

I haven't done any edits to my registration templates yet.

Installed ok as far as I can see but when you click the main Facebook button under the username and password area it does nothing.

If I look at the path all it shows is a # and thats it?
