after i reverted the template to what is default on 2.3, the behavior returned. so i reinstalled your fix vbboarder. :)

The vbboarder fix still working good on Opera, IE7, IE8 (Beta), Chrome and Firefox :)

FYI I've tested this on default vB style in the following configurations:

- XP - IE7
- XP - Opera
- XP - Firefox 3
- Mac - Firefox 3
- Mac - Safari

And it worked fine, which means status bar is loading with no problems/page shifting.

Not currently. Have you tried vbseo website? I think they have their own forums.

The Cyb's fix after revert templates how he says, works perfect

To those who wish add this hack to vBAdvanced.

It doesn't work if vBAdvanced directory if different from forum's directory. You can fix it by yuorself, changing product code : all paths to misc.php replace with absolute path ( something like http://www.yourforum.com/forums/misc.php ) .

Same You need to do in adminCP settings for new/old buttons

Maybe Cyb can add this into parms ? And FavoriteSmilies too... :)

I has something to do with the fact that I am using 3.7.3, where anything that is being posted directly to the code (like template or xml or php itself) will not be parsed as unicode.</font>

The newest update fixed every single issue I had with the box, and some I didn't even I know I had! :P

My only request is that you add another "style" for the box, even if it's gotta be as a seperate mod all together, that has the input on the bottom with the chat above it, more like a normal chat room. That'd make this the end-all of VB chat boxes, IMHO.

I've had it installed for like 2 months and now all the sudden getting vb errors.

Am currently working on some enhancements to this chat box. Features include:

* user selectable layout (column or row style)
* display "[mod]" next to users in chat box moderation group
* mod unique font color
* admin channel support (this one will be tough, maybe unfeasible).

I will provide the code to Cyb so hopefully he can take a look at the mods and see if he wants to bundle those into a next release.

It would be better not to refresh the chatbox when the display is collapsed. The box should load the chat only if the display is expanded.
