I can seem to be able to use it with 3.8.1. I get this message:

I thought I had this installed right, when I put it in this morning it looked good, took the first donation and counted it right, but then the second and third donation went through but didn't get counted toward the goal. Then, I noticed that I had set in the cp to have the goal $200, but in public it still says $100 is the goal. I guess I have something configured wrong, but what?

Hmm, some more odd things. That first donation we got, it kicked the guy's account from registered user into the (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation usergroup, and he thought I banned him! :( The second and third donation still doesn't show up, but I just got a fourth and that one counted though.

I had the same issue. I went into the admin control panel, looked under "Group Change Settings," and "Donation User Group Change" was set to "No" but under "Affected Groups" had "Registered Users" checked. It apparently still does the user group change even though the main settings are set to "No."

I've attempted to uncheck the "Registered Users" but it stays checked after being saved. I'm basically just going to remove it from the main coding, which can be found at: awcodinglite/functions/trans.php starting at line # 44 (under "function ugp_change").

I'm having a HUGE issue with this mod. I have glimpsed through the pages, but decided to just ask. Some transactions have been lost by my members. they don't show up on the transaction page and they have a paypal transaction number. When I called Paypal, they said that the payments were not routed to my paypal account but to AWNetwork inc. What is this all about?

will this be supported for 3.8 / 4.0 ? I have 3.8.1 installed now and would like to upgrade

Made a donation from one PayPal account to another - payment taken from one account - payment showed in other account. However progress bar not changed, nothing added to 'meeting the goal' and no transaction in the admincp area. Basicly donation made but my site has no record of it.

Common now I am a professional business for over 10 years and been coding for decades in no way would that ever happen UNLESS you directly put my paypal account in your settings. By default it is blank or a fake Email which paypal rejects. So no idea why you are even accusing of such a thing. No transactions get lost. The fact is LITE does NOT use IPN/API "PRO DOES". So payments get registered to software through javascript at click before being directed to payment method. Then after payment method using PDT the payment method posts back to your site and confirms payment. Now two things IF the user does NOT click the return to your site and closes window or whatever the payment wont be recorded as payment PDT was not posted (Again PRO non of this matters accepted instant). OR if you have an auto redirect after X time in your paypal account setup this will also not send PDT info. So there are a lot of factors in lite as this is lite software ONLY TO BE USED TO EARN ENOUGH FOR PRO. PRO is software LITE is a mod. Completely different. PRO has over 350 settings and does not share one bit of code in common with LITE.

Donation System Lite, simply amazing what you have put together for free.

Then you have the PRO version. What can I say other then Awjunkies (Adam) has released one of the most comprehensive donations system ever conceived for vBulletin and it is continually being updated with both patches and new and exciting options. Not only does the software work as advertised but his continued support before and after is unparalleled.

I ran the gamut in terms of trying to strum up donation to help support my site and in less then 30 days after I installed this I had more donations then in the last 4 years from my members :eek: And with the currency converter no longer is there a question of converting donations for those not familiar with the dollar as this software talks their language!

I also am running another addon called Subscription System which is running side by side so that we can offer subscirption based options. In simple terms a member can now subscribe at various levels based on what they want and their user groups is then changed giving them more attributes. All on the fly and automated.

This is the best donation system for vBulletin on the market to date. The installation guide is very easy to follow, which makes installing a breeze. Thanks to this system my site has collected lots of donations over the year.

And if that wasn't all, the support you get is great and to be honest priceless.

Just installed this mod, and it is great. I'm not sure what part of the code is doing it, but on my main site (vbdrupal install), I get the following mySQL error:

So somewhere, it is looking for awc_payments table instead of awcl_payments table. The mod seems to work just fine the forums, though. Have any ideas? Thanks!

EDIT: Since it is happening when a user comes directly to the site, I have put up a redirect to the forums until the issue is fixed. The error can be recreated by going to any of the content via the links in the left hand menus.

Fixed. In the new product XML file, there is still a db entry of AWC_ instead of AWCL_. I found it in Notepad, so I can't say exactly what line number it is. But do a search for it, and I think you will find it. I'm pretty sure it was the second to last one in the file.

that error is caused by having AWCoding- Subscription System amounts added to goal amount integration setting ON in bar section. It is NOT on by default NOR should you have turned it on without AWCoding- Subscription System which is explicitly says. Don't want to add a query to check if table exists before adding it to goal as that is additional query everyplace sidebar, centerbar, and main bar are shown not good :)

So go to AWcoding LITE->Settings->Donation System LITE->bar settings->Last option AWCoding subscription system integration set that OFF only have it on if you have SS installed on site.

DO NOT DO THIS :) you turned on a setting you shouldn't have because you don't have the software revert this or you will get DOUBLE the donation bar amount :)
I repeat change that back go to plugins my software parse_templates and change dsl_bar_awc_ss is statement area back to awc NOT awcl. Basically re-download and override XML this will put the correct table back and not effect settings or payments or anything.

Make sure to turn off the setting I stated above before re-importing as override.

AGAIN THIS IS NOT AN ERROR OR BUG PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL SETTINGS AND SETUP BEFORE USING.

Also I have to make CLEAR there was no version 2.0 of the LITE software everyone who has 0.2.1 or 0.2.0 are FAR behind in versions as 1.0.0 was released a year ago you have been using wrong version so please upgrade 3.0.0 to stop the confusion :)

I was actually on version 1.0.0, but I just stated it wrong in my thread. I read through the instructions, but obviously missed that part. I will go back and fix it as you stated. Thanks for the info, and sorry about the false bug report.

does this system allow for a 2nd paypal address to be incorporated. For example: if i wanted to allow my users to donate to someone else's paypal to support a get together fund etc.

LITE does not have goals system so your answer is no. Lite uses a timed slot system not goals system per say.

PRO has goals and will be getting a goal owner system which they can set own payment methods to be used etc. Not sure how I want to implement it at this time there is discussions on it on FC. But I have done custom stuff for users for PRO software with platinum service I have done alternating paypal accounts per transaction etc and so on. Anything can be done it is just a matter of you guys suggesting it and me coding it. BUT this will never be in LITE version as it has no goals system and I will not be bringing that to LITE it is a PRO only along with awards and so much more.
