question/suggestion - in future versions, would it be possible if a user is on tachy goes to coventry, that their 'thanks' they have given out could be hidden too? this is because at my site we use tachy as an 'emergency hide' method for the users, and so we want all their thanks to temporarily be hidden while they are on tachy too

How do we upgrade? Just overwrite the files? Do we need to reimport the XML file? If so, do we need to delete the old one?

MAYBE I've found the error.
My user table has 11,000+ records

Basically the hack successfully creates the post_thanks table and also alter it by adding the 'postid' index.

What it doesn't do is alter the 'user' table to add new fields (post_thanks_user_amount....). Maybe 'cause I have too many users?:erm:

Can I manually do those 'alter table' queries via phpmyadmin?

After my uprade to vBulletin 3.7.0, I get this error when I click thanks:

thx for the hack. i have only one problem after the update from 3.6.8 to 3.7 ...
i must press F5 for the refresh. ajax is still on.
hide is the 0.35 version.

Looks like some or none of the mods files were uploaded as directed...upload again using a different FTP client.

The error went away and everything installed ok, however, the "thanks image" is not showing up in any post made.

Are you certain the images have been uploaded correctly to each style directory?

example;

Vbulletin Default Skin.

Hi,

I am upgrading from 3.6.1 to 3.7.0

I used to have this hack on 3.6 but for some reason I can't get this to show at all now!

I replaced all the files and uploaded the product but when you go to a post theres no thank you button.

I even uninstalled/re-installed and it still won't work.

Am i missing something?

You don't need to make any template modifications, the product file installs all of the relevent modifications within your templates.

I'm not getting any problems after my install. Double check that all the files are in the right places.

I assume (though not checked yet) that there are no permission settings. It might be down to the permissions on the forum board.

This only happens on the legacy postbit.
