easy way to do it is edit the Default Avatar member.php in the Plugin System, where it says "images/avatars/noavatar.gif" just put the whole url for the site in like http://www.blah.com/forums/images/avatars/noavatar.gif
thats what i did, oh and the install button has been clicked

I know it's stupid, but I'm confused as to where I upload the default_avatat.xml file? Sorry, I'm new to 3.6.

I just installed this in 3.6 and it works perfectly... I wish you had this in the 3.6 Mods forum as I was looking for it over there....
