Well I am happy to say that I worked through it on my own.
What I had to do was gather every Post thank you hack I had (4) starting from v.02
and did an install uninstall in backwards order.

In the end I found the bots of code that were plaguing my forums in some of the
earlier versions, when I was finished I took a deep breath and installed v 1.03 fresh.

I thought the installed was botched when I went out to my AdminCP /forum manager
and couldn't find the Post thank you hack controls there, but just before I was going
to strip everything off I thought I should through a peek in the vb control settings.
and there I found the >new< Post Thank You Hack settings :D

So now after some quick testing everything seems to work properly now. :)
I do kind of miss the individual forum controls though instead of the new system
with forum ID's.

To bad there is no more support on this hack :(

If not, then I would work backwards and make sure that everything is removed from the install. For example; if it says "add xxx after yyy" then make sure that xxx is no longer in your code...

Sorry, I was away for Passover. I hope in the next few days to look into this problem. There seems to be a few problems with 3.0.7 and I hope to have them all figured out. I only work on my hacks in my free time and hope to clear some time for it in the next few days.

Like i said it my first post, I'm still supporting it. I changed the vb version to 3.0.6 until I sort out a few things.

Thank you Abe1. We truly do appreciate the help :)

Yes I agree with Bubble no.5

thank you for staying with it. We need more people to stick with the hacks
around here some potentially greats mods go south due to loss of interest
or suppport :9

Good to see your sticking with it.

My options dont show up when going to AdminCP>VB Options>Thank You Hack>

The only options there are to save or reset

And as I aint got the options in the Admin CP yet, I am able to limit this hack to only certain forums?? Also is there anyway for the thanks to be added in just 1 thank you at the bottom of the 1st post, again dunno if all this is in the options as I cant get in to see them
