I just want to know what is the difference between this mod & the built-in vbulletin "Skimlinks & Skimwords" ?

Really you would want to use this mod in combination with Skimlinks and possibly disable skimwords.

I am using it with skimlinks myself.

This mod is kind of like a local version of "Skimwords" but you have 100% control over which words are linked, and where they are linked to, and how many are linked per post or page.

Skimwords in my experience just offers you a few options and a lot of times it doesn't seem to link relevant words at all.

Plus any links Word Links make will still be counted by Skimlinks so if a user follows it from your site you will get affiliate credit.

I'm not saying this is better or worse than skimwords, it is a personal preference which you prefer. You can use both, I haven't seen any conflicts. This is just a different way of doing things.

Change your flash bbcode to this... this should prevent your {param}'s from being linked...

Hey, I changed my bbcode, which tag has {param} will have rel="thickbox" but it skill linked.

wil be handy if you can link to intern page and then open in same window

You can definitely do this if you upload a .csv file & you can apply it to individual links. I don't think there's an option in the basic settings.

:up: I've just installed this & it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm using it for 'internal' links to my main website & for affiliate links (not skim links).
