Moderation Auto-PM doesn't send any emails, only private messages. Sorry, I tested this mod and still works on vBulletin 4.1.11.

Sorry.... I misspoke. I was referring to PMs.

We've now set it up on a bare test install of VB also, and are having the same problems.

An update to readers and potential installers: the problem was at root one with custom phrases, and when this was sorted, the mod returned to working perfectly and beautifully.

I can also now vouch for superb technical support from the author: within 15 minutes of sending a PM I had the matter completely fixed and resolved.

Moderation Auto-PM v4.0.6 is working properly on vBulletin 4.1.11.

I saw that, but it noted that the language packs were updated in the files so I guess that can't be my problem (PMs not being sent). Thanks.

Edit: Problem solved; unusual problem. I noticed that PMs were not being sent to "approved posts", but they were being sent to "unapproved posts", I checked the settings and they were both set to "yes", but set the "approve posts" to "No", saved, and then set it back to "Yes" and resaved.

I wonder if it is possible for the message sent to include details of where the thread/post was moved from. This would help my members to understand their mistake in posting in the wrong section.
