PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notification)

This is what I was talking about several posts above. this bit of code to handle IPN msgs sent from paypal, is what would automatically confirm the payments made and completed, then would mark them so in vB.

it is missing in this add-on.

Valter, can you please add this into your add-on when you get time?

Please disregard... I'm really stumped as to how it was inserted into my PayPal profile but it was in my Seller Preferences to have IPN sent to my domain.com/ipn.php - this is weird because it's my personal paypal account pointed to my forum's domain when all transactions from my forum has a separate paypal account. I don't know how it got mydomain.com/ipn.php in there but either way I disabled it and I was receiving the e-mails because I had two e-bay transactions that were trying to use the IPN. In any case, I'm confident that it was unrelated to this modification.

I have the same issue...

A user makes a donation via the "donate" link, paypal sends a confirmation email that the funds have been received, I receive a PM that the user donated, I go into the "view donations" page but see nothing to confirm.

Valter, great mod, but this part of the mod is not working for at least 4 of us. Any ideas?

There is a bit of confusion here with the subscription system Valter...

It is telling my members that they're paying "$20.00 USD for each 6 months, for 6 installments".
Is there no way to disable these installments, and just pay a lump sum?

All I'm wanting is a system to keep track of donation times, so users can be removed from the special donating usergroup after a certain period of time. Automatic removal would be nice, but I don't think your mod supports that.

I personally think this mod would be easier to manage if it was integrated with the forum's Paid Subscriptions feature. This way addition and removal from usergroups is customizable... but YOU have added the nice donation bar and interface.

Same problem here. New installation. I got the PM stating that a user donated however when I click the View Donations page there is nothing there. HOWEVER, if I click donate abd donate money, I get the PM and I am able to see myself, just no other users.

The date and time is not working for me in messages sent to donor and staff. It shows up as d-m-y, H:i instead of letters and numbers. My date/time settings on forum is set to d-m-y, H:i

One question though, is there a way to change the message on the Paypal page? For example when someone clicks to donate, it has my username on it.

Right now it shows up:

Donation to Support "My Website" (User: XXXXXXXX)

Is there anyway to remove the username and just leave the website?
