I still have my problem with the Threads still showing for users under the post count when using 'What's New' tab for search

Nearly perfect but the same problem here, all users can see the first sentences in 'Whats's New'. Have anyone a solution?

This Modification is brilliant. We've had problems with basic user-promotions to set a minimum 25 post limit for posting in a particular section (users who've been members for months, with hundreds of posts being missed), this mod solved the problem immediately.

One thing would make it perfect for me: The ability to determine exclusion from the post-count criteria on a per-forum basis (just as you can specify the criteria on a per-forum basis), rather than forum-wide in the general settings. This thing would seriously kick ass with that flexibility.

...OK, I'd also like to hack a donate link into the insufficient count dialogue, but I think I can manage that one :)

Thanks for a great mod!

Can I use this mod to disable someones ability to post once their monthly post limit has been reached?

I have a troll on my forum who can be useful at times but he posts constantly and winds people up. I would like to be able to limit his input to 100 posts per month.

An odd bug has just happened after we upgraded vb to 4.1.6

We don't allow users to start a thread until they get to 100 posts. Which now means that when a user (with less than 100 posts) reports a comment on the forum it actually gets sent to the mods by email instead of starting a thread in the reports forum which is the vb setting we have. The mods are getting a bit annoyed at this.

When this mod is disabled, the issue doesn't occur. And it happens when the mod isn't limiting by post count (we checked as we were use this pluging to limit the number of posts but moved it to usergroup permissions in testing).

So it's definitely this mod. Just wondering if there's a fix/way around it?

You could set up an exception on the forum where "reported posts" thread are being created I guess.

Just go to the mod settings page.
Click on "For Individual Forums"
Then edit the forum where the reported posts threads are being made.
And set the required post count in there to 0.

Hey there, we have done already. But when this mod is active it sends the report by anyone <100 posts by email, but not when this mod is active.

Would really love some support in fixing this, that I'd happily pay the developer for by donation or whatever.

Has anyone modified this to only restrict downloading attachments in specific forums?
