I have a request.
Would it be possible to auto BAN! those who are declared by AE ?
I would really need that. I get sometimes multiple registrations up to 10 times from one person

I could do with some advice on how to interpret the data produced.

This had revealed some multiple ID's of known forum troublemakers... and thats been v handy..

But for many of the other reports... I often cant find anything sinister or suspect about the forum use of the two ID's...?

So .. What do I do in these cases? Any suggestions? How are you folks using it?

I like (love?) the plug in  - but seek power user tips for its use

Many thanks

Auto-banning an AE trip would be silly, as 99% of them are innocent.

We only take action if a tripper starts participating as multiple users in discussions. And then only if we're convinced from their grammar it's the same person.

In my Case I check EVERYONE! and AE was until today ALWAYS! right. Never got a false one.
Even if it would be optional, I really want it.

I didn't say it "wasn't right". I said most of the trips are not miscreants and shouldn't be banned. The few rare ones should be dealt with on an individual basis.

I mean, if a husband and wife trip, why the heck would you want to ban both of them???

I would like to learn how people are checking the member registrations once they show up in AE.

What is your checking system? What is the procedure you go through?

Thanks

You've misinterpreted this mod completely. It works by checking *logging in* users (against a cookie). This is not a pre-registration anti spam mod.

aa right do u know of any mod that dose this ??

I check afterwards with some other logging tools I wrote for myself.
But I would really need that AE-Ban.
I get users that really love to do themself 2-8 Accounts and I don't want to ban every single one of them. Most record is an User with 43 Accounts, about 3 weeks ago :(
