It would be nice if in Admin CP the messages were saved as categories and not as the entire message itself.

Hi I have this problem...
Installed and working good with text.

I tried to insert html code to show a banner inside one tag and the banner doesn't show.

"Parse BBcode" option is disabled of course, and in fact I can see the banners properly showing in my ADMINcp/Manage Announcements section.

But in the forum, inside the boxes, the same banners are not showing..
thanks,
M

My code as we have been told doesn't allow for HTML. I am working on it for the next release.

Not sure if you skipped my message above. I'm wondering if you could advise what part of the code I need to remove to obtain the edit announcements screen.

Thanks,

I am assuming that you lost the edits I provided with the upgrade? And you are probably gonna beat me but I have totally forgotten what exactly we did *blush*... Give me tonight and I'll upload a new admin file for you (like last time)... And this time I'll take notes on what I did hehe...

Sorry... I'll hurry... promise =0)
Always, Bree

Nevermind, that wasn't hard to figure out... for some reason the code I used to count the announcements (and display them IF there were any) didn't work for you, so we had taken that out... Anyways... Here's the new admin file for SmnLikQuick v2.0.3 edited to fit your needs. Just upload this one overwriting the old one and it should work as it did before you upgraded.

Until I can figure this out... when I upgrade the mod, can you please notify me that you will need a new admin file... I'll keep a note on my computer to help remind me but just in case I forget, leave me a message here (or PM me) pretty please.

Thanks a bunch and sorry about that. Always -Bree

Thanks Bree. Really appreciate your dedication to your work. Great script.

Note: I believe that last time we agreed that issue may be due to my using php 5.2.3

I remember now... And if that is true... I will have no other choice but to get it fixed soon cause I wish to upgrade my site to PHP 5... I can't even remember why I haven't done that already ROFL Probably scared that everything will go wrong =0) We shall see hehe... Anyways you are very welcomed!

Always -Bree

I'm having the same issue as #89

I uploaded everything again & still no change.
Its always just "loading"

Bree 05-08-2008 06:20 PM

Hi Life... That's not good *pout*... My mind is completely drawing a blank.. that could be because it is now 9:17am my time and I've yet to go to bed YIKES... As soon as I get a bit of sleep I'll come back and try to figure this problem out and post to you sometime tomorrow...

Some things to try until then... verify that forum>smnlikquick.php uploaded to your server ok. Make sure that none of the SmnLikQuick Plugins somehow got disabled.. Possibly uninstall and reinstall the Mod?

Are the messages displaying fine in AdminCP?

Sorry but I am soooo very sleepy *blush*

Always, Bree

Just finished my 3rd complete reinstall & each time I followed your instructions to the letter.
The js & css includes are in the headinclude template because i'm using the home page addon. As for your questions ..

All plugins are working.
AdminCp info shows up & can be changed.
I can also add & delete items fine.

The content of the items just continues to show the loading over & over.
To this point I have only seen the ajax function move between the items once.
That seemed to be during a forced page refresh. Even when that did happen the content area still only displays "Loading"

I'm not sure what this issue is. . I've looked for any path that may be off & cannot find any issue. One thing I have noticed though is when I change the options in the admincp (enable, modcp, bbcode) it doesn't seem to make any difference. The block still shows & nothing about it changes at all after I change those options. In fact when it installs, it is not enabled by default & still shows if the block is created.

enjoy your sleep, I'll look forward to any help you may have :)

UPDATE:

I changed the paths to the full path in the templates & now it seems to be working.

so that may help if anyone else ends up having the issue.
