how can i made the box with codes for members in the Journal
they can't write thier poems well nor add smiles i run vb3.0.7 is there any hack to make it like the pic in atcched ? thanks |
One thing I found is that if you have other mods installed you need to be REAL careful with the "Find" "Replace" in this mod. Over writing a block of code is a bad thing in my opinion so I will try and go through this with permission and do the "Find" "Find in Line" "Add".

So does this mod work with 3.6.8, would love to add this.

This is a great mod but it doesn't work natively with 3.6.x -- if you can find it, an updated version for 3.5.x was released and somewhere in that thread where the changes needed to run on 3.6.x.
vbjournal was a great mod but I've since replaced it with the official vb-blog as this modification is no longer being actively supported or updated. |
I have also switched to vbulletin blogs instead of the journal mod - I uninstalled the journal mod - does anyone know if there is a way for me to retrieve old journal user's data? I had a few members that weren't around when I let everyone know they had to save their old journal posts and re-add them to their new blogs. If I could, I'd like to pull data out for those who didn't copy their posts before the switch.. thanks anyone!

If you uninstalled it, all data is gone.
So the only option would be to restore a backup that was taken before teh switch into a new DB and run Impex against it. |
