Then it must be a another modification that is blocking the sidebar from showing. As you can see it is working in thousend's of websites as on this http://last24tech.com/forum.php

I disabled every Mod that I have individually and the "default" vBulletin sidebar menu appeared at least. When I made ESB the only Mod enabled, the default didn't work and neither did ESB.

I have in the past have had vbulletin updates not completely overwrite or erase files during the process as it should. Could there be an old file, vbulletin fuile conflicting by any chance? It seems weird though, since this worked outside of the collapsing issue on vB 4.1.10

I got it to work. I uninstalled and re-installed ESB and it is working, I do have an issue with alignments that i didn't have before where the text isn't wrapping around the the avatars?

I gave that a shot and no luck. I noticed in that link you had posted for me the other day, that website's sidebar also had the issue where the avatar had a blank space next to it and the text wasn't wrapping... --> http://last24tech.com/forum.php

Ok I guess that symptom was a style problem.

I will check the cookie thing and fix it soon.

Thanks

I've updated this on a site with the default style and the sidebar won't stay closed after closing..
I've also setup a plain default style and disabled all the other mods and we're still getting the annoying (can't close) issue.

We just upgraded from 4.1.1 to .1.11 and it started happening..

We also updated the ESB mod thinking that would fix it,, it didn't..

ideas?

and please don't say you've explained this before like some of the other replies to the same issue.. I've searched through most the 100 some pages already..

Thanks

I wont say that :)

But this is a bug in the standard version you can overcome this by forcing sidebar to always open from mod options.

Can you please go to vBulletin Options-> Style & Language Settings and set "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files" to No.

Does this fix it?

The sidebar is making my site load extremely slow. All other uploading of my site ceases until the sidebar has completed, is there a way to speed up its processing or force the sidebar to load at the end and not really be considered in my page load time?
