i would like to have posts in most forums worth 2 points (can do)
i would like to have posts in 2 specific forums (+++++ and trading) tobe worth only 1 point (currently cannot do)
i would like to have posts in 1 specific forum (vent) worth 0 points (can do)

i guess i am asking for a secondary value for some paramaters (posts, thread starts) then i could weigh a couple forums heavier or lighter then most of the others.

It seems you didn't copied the xperience.php to the server.


You are thinking wrong. The achievements are calculated in POINTS. Depending of what you set on YOUR forum, it can be different on another forum. So if you are giving away 2 points per day, you need to multiply 1826 with 2: 3652.
If you want to have an achievement for 10 friends, and you are giving away 15 points per friend, you need to set 150, not 10.

Take a look into the ZIP File, there you have the plugin Advanced Forum Points:
\extras\Addons\advanced_forum_points.xml

Install it, and you can set the points for each forum.

i have one member who gave all his points away and now when anyone tries to pull up his profile they get the following error:

i tried doing a repair database via cpanel, did not fix.

i did a point recalculate and still cannot pull up his profile


also, about the achievements
you were correct of course.
i have points per day set to 2
achievement "one year" = "days since joined" > 730
this member joined in june 09 but got the 1 year registered achievement. maybe because of donated points from the above member?

if i change achievement parameters and recalculate achievements does it automatically remove them from members who then dont have enough points?

if i have the system recalculate points does it keep points that have been gifted to other players? so in other words since guy#1 gave all his points to guy#2 the system remebers the transaction and even after recalculating still have guy#1 at 0 and guy#2 with the additional points

They don't have access to forum manager.
