in showthread_complete.php for guest users coz it make some load on showthread pages.

Sorry, that's not a wise idea because it would disable the Post Colouring feature (a Pro-only feature).

vBShout importer has been tested to work on Post Thanks v7.7
and DBTech vBShout Advanced Thanks / Like v1.0.0

1. Upload all files from the "upload" folder to your forums directory.

2. Go to [your admin dir]/thanksimport.php

That's all the instructions that are needed :)

Does anyone know if there is a version of this available for 3.8, or something else that can add multiple arbitrary buttons in addition to thanks or like?

This mod has a vB3.8 version ( https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=243511 ) and the Pro version lets you add an arbitrary number of buttons :)
