That is not an award, it is an additional calculation method, a custom data provider. You CAN assign an Award to it, yes, but it is not delivered within the package.

I have 2 questions:

Is it possible to use the Level in the Shop as a Costfield?

Where can I adjust how many points somebody needs to get a Level up?

Level as costfield would not make any sense. Use the xperience points instead.

You will need to modify one of the level XML to adjust the points needed for level up.

One more question. If somebody exchange his points in the Shop, will I get as an Administrator a notification when this happens?

Will this person who exchange the points for a prize downgraded in his level as well?

Yes and yes (if the points he redeemed are enough to be downgraded).

He exchanges his points for an item in the shop, so he get's a countervalue for that. Still, you can offer items for only f.e. 1 post points.
If you don't like the idea, disable the shop.

No, as 3.7.17 was a quick release because of some addons and some other fixes.
