well, the thing is its not about added options. I think something is wrong cause the query counts seems to be significantly higher then before my upgrade. I had alot of hacks so I am unsure what is interfering with what. Just trying to clean up the mess a little.

why is it the random poll works say if you click one of the menu options. But on the main index it doenst work????

Is it possible to get the "News" or the "Latest Threads" to display results from an entire Category, instead of only one forum (news), or all forums (latest threads)?

well doing the entire forum, every time a new topic was posted it would display on the front page, i think this might add alot of queries but im not sure

I might not have been clear on exactly what I meant. Instead of pulling "Latest Threads" from every forum on a vb, I was wondering if I could pull the "Latest Threads' from only one Category of a vb.

I have three main categories, each with sub categories, and postable forums under the sub categories. I would like to pull the Latest Threads from the postable forums located under one Category only, not the whole board.
