I had a look at the chatbox code and it seems ok to me.

However I am wondering, do you have the notifications enabled in the chatbox ?

Then it's normal, if you have specified the chats and notifications to be retrieved within the same query then if notifications are fired before new chats then there will be more notifications and then no chats.

I installed this today and imported my old shots twice from my old shoutbox and now they show up twice in the archives and everyone has doubled stats.

Whats the easiest way to delete all the shouts and just do a fresh import?

I fixed my problem by uninstalling then reinstalling. :)

EDIT: I fixed it.

I accidentaly enabled a command that I didnt want (or have any permissions setup for that matter) and as soon as I disabled it, the errors went away. :)

Change that to a bigger number. ;)

Been running the VB4 version of the chat now for a little over a week and a half and it seems fine. Small minor issues that can't really be replicated across a wide platform...

Any new update to vb4 status? Like when it is going to be released? This is the first thing I check for everytime I sign on lolz

Well it's pretty much ready. So I'd assume shortly. He's doing an extensive beta testing first. I can't see a reason for it to not go public in the next few weeks..

I am quite busy at work currently and with personnal stuff (my gf got fired...) so I haven't spent much time on the chatbox.

What keep me from releasing is that I want to add more notifications in the Branding Free version for the release (like new registration notifications and so on...).

So I've gone thru this thread as much as possible but I still cant find an answer...

I have vb 3.8.2 and vba installed in the same directory...

On it's on page it works fine but when I try to show it on a forum page or forum home, it stays on Loading... when I type something in and press enter it gives me "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing."

Any1 have an idea why? I followed the instructions to the T - fresh install, no chat conversions...

Hi i've checked in all options from MGC Chatbox Evo in admin panel and i can't find a option to turn off the part where users can go to there usercp and turn this on or off show the chatbox
is there something i missed or there isn't a option for that? cause i want it to stay on but for users not be able to turn it off Thanks.

Nope i checked there and there isn't an option to turn the chat part permission off so they can still put yes or no.

Can anyones tell me how to creat bot Auto reply In MGC Chatbox evo 2.4.x. i can't use this Option in ACP :(

But wen i say anything in chatbox. Nothing reply to me :(

Enable the bot. You do know there's like 200+ options for the chat. Go through EVERY one. And it's case sensitive to it too. so if "Jew" is the trigger word and you type "jew" nothing will happen.

Bed......... Go through all ur options.

Oh. I already alow group can talk to bot. But nothing reply again . And when i enable command i see this :
