i'm running vb 3.6.5 and i just installed this using the donations.zip

everything seems to be displaying correctly except when you click on my url ending with ppverify.php i get a database error

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.5:

Invalid SQL:
INSERT INTO donation_paypalipn (

any ideas?

and also, it does not show up anywhere on my donations.php page where someone can actually make a donation?

any ideas?
You should not be clicking on a link to ppverify as it is only used by the donation script to recieve Paypal postback variables so it can update the donation_paypalipn table with your donors payment info.

The link for the donation page should be donate.php not donation.php

Has anyone sorted out how it can be done that guest donors (or esp. donors which have been donated via bank transfer and the donating members are added later in the admincp) are calculated in the goal overview.
By now it´s only listing the new member and the amount, but it doesnt add the amount to the goal. I.e. if you already achieved 48 % of the goal and someone sent you 50 bugs your goal stays at 48% instead of showing 51%. Is there a workaround for that ?

Anyone ? Help aprecciated.

Are you refering to if when adding a member donation through the admincp and it not updating the goal.

I just got my first donation using this hack. It added shipping and tax to the donation total. Any ideas how to change this so it does not?

Check your settings in your paypal account. Also are you using a tax id in the settings for the paypal donation mod?

yeah, its in paypal, in your profile, shipping calculation

remove the settings there (clear settings)

sinisterpain, please look at this problem, i have the same problem and i know what it is.

the variable showdonor is changing to 0 (and its not supposed to) in the database

the variable donor is changing to 1 and its OK, but showdonor is not supposed to change. It happened with my last 2 donors... and worked fine with the first 4 guys.

I just dont know this mod too well to see wich code is changing the variable.
