i have a problem, most of the time the chatbox remain empty, when i switch to full mode the shouts are displayed.
what could be wrong or how could i find out what is wrong.

To fix the smile, search in template vsa_chatbox_input

look for {vb:stylevar imgdir_editor}/smilie.gif

and change smilie.gif to smilie.png

this is because of the new icons...

To solve this, go to the language manager, edit settings for the language with problems, and clear out in the Date/Time Formating, for example i use spanish and this is how it should look!

this is weird , upgraded my forum from 4.0.3 to 4.1.1 and now getting "new" where the forders should be. Got to be an imaging path issue and I see other people are having the same issue.....

Ok I may have missed it because there are A LOT of posts...

-EVERY TIME it refreshes itself it jumps to the MIDDLE of the above messages. How do I stop that?

-Also there is a BOX with what SHOULD be some image, for the smilies and also next to the date/time. When I hover it says ARCHIVE

Is it possible to add a sound when a msg is there? Like facebook chat does?

Please let's not even compare FB chat to anything useful, as it doesn't deliver offline messages.

But this oft-requested feature should become very easy once HTML 5's <audio> tag becomes common. However, right now it's very difficult, but the solution has been posted earlier in the thread. Not for the timid though, as it requires many manual edits.
