I uninstalled this from my forum but it still has settings in the usergroup.
When I try to edit my usergroups now I get a MySQL error:

After the successful installation of MGC chatbox Evo 2.4.2 in vB 3.8.4, Its not showing my chat window, it showing as "Loading..", I can able to post message but its not showing in chat window, I can able to see it in archive. Please let me clarify it to fix this issue.

I Think There is a Bug on Version 2.4.2 Working on vB384.

When I Delete Shouts and I Run the "Counters update", I can still see the Count of Shouts of Users on the ChatBox Top 10 Statistics; I've even Completely Deleted Shouts of Certain Users, and they Appear on The Statistics, as well as the Total Count of Shouts of Users that Have Posted Shouts and I've Deleted some of them. :confused:

I've Set the Option "Number of days before automatic chats removal" to 365, but if the Shouts have been Manually Deleted I don't know if this Affects the "Counters update" Cleaning Routine. :confused:

I Hope You Can Locate and Correct this Bug on Your Next Update, VBDev. ;)

I've Received Yout Update Mail, and is Great to Know that You'll Continue Working on the ChatBox. I Hope You Can Also Include the Possibility for the BBCodes to be Applied to Selected Text on the Message Box, and Not to All the Shout Message, (Like it Was Many Updates Before).

yeah hopefully mgc becomes available for 4.0 the alternatives suck.

It's possible it has that bug cause right now it won't work with 3.8.5 the refresh time stays stuck like its looping so if you chat it might show the first text you send but give it a few minutes and refresh loops stays stuck and when you do a text wont show to you or anyone else the text message you send unless you refresh page then you see what you wrote in the chat box does it on only 3.8.5 cause before i upgrade it, in 3.8.4 it had no issues.

Hey VBDev Just curious since i've updated it to 3.8.5 the refresh loops so it stays stuck so chat wont work unless you refresh your page. now when i had 3.8.4 that didnt happen at all so was curious if your going to update for 3.8.5 as well since i know your making one for 4.0 and just curious is there anyway i can fix it myself the refresh Thanks.

Also if you need to test anything on 3.8.5 let me know and i'll let you try it there for any updates.

Well not sure why then cause ever since i upgrade it to 3.8.5 the refresh will stay stuck if you stay on that page in chatbox about 5 to 10 min trying to chat it will freeze on the refresh like its looping or something it use to work with no problems when i was at 3.8.4 with no issues at all now that i've upgraded it to 3.8.5 it freezes on you the refresh.

Great to hear that a VB4 compatible version is in the works. Still the best chatbox out there for vBulletin IMO.

installed, everything seems fine, but the chatbox is not displaying. I looked to see if it was active and set to display and everything seems ok. I even created a channel and set permissions to all users without success... vB 3.8.5 here any ideas?

I have currently reached a point where the chatbox is working again. I have still templates to port to vB4 coding way and also find out what I changed from the 2.4.0 to the 2.4.2 version as I have lost files... Then will come the time to checkout the bugs and add perhaps some functionnalities mainly related to vB4.

One point to note is that the chatbox will be compatible with both vB3 and vB4 versions :)

I'll start looking for beta testers (serious ones for intense testing) in the coming weeks.

Version 2.4.2 won't work on PHP 5.3, but 2.3.2 works fine.

My gaming clan use a chat bo daily with a vast ammount of chats and would help with the testing if you need any help

Usergroup permissions. I know for a fact it works on php 5.3

When I go onto Full Page Mode is doesn't work, any ideas?

Have you checked the php logs of your server for error ?

It's not fully supporting vBAdvanced. I have to dig into that since a long time and never really took the time. I'll check it out in the next release which will be compatible with both vB3.8 and vB4.

Full Page Mode working fine now, i think it was my net connection.

Another thing, is it possible to have private Chats with only one or two other posters?
Can there be more than one chat going on at one time?
