@Phalynx:
I like this mod, have just installed it on my test-forum to see how it is performing. The only thing I found that recounting points after changing config is a bit slow (about one hour) with 27000 users / 10500 threads / 135000 posts, but the test-server is not very fast, so this may be better on our normal server.

Will you also develop a version for vbulletin 4.0 when it is released? (i do not want to loose this mod again after a short while, when I install it now and 4.0 will be released in a couple of weeks/months (?) )

after doing the upgrade from 382 to 3842 version today all of our settings pages are blank afterwards. I did apply the xml file (uploaded and allowed for overwrite selected) still the primary few options are showing nothing when we click on them (xperience settings etc etc) and show only a blank page and the page footer information.

What can i do to try to fix this?

You can only do this with an achievement, which is similar to an award.

Is it possible it could be incorporated as an Award in a future update ? Achievements go away over time.. (in postbit) Awards stick around forever. And this one is pretty important.

i see the listed fix for the issue i'm having suggested in the main section "Known Issues" and I am going to recompile apache and php versions to see if that will fix the problem.

ok i've recompiled apache/php on my webserver and i'm still receiving nothing but blank pages in the admin section for vbexperience settings and other links in there. What can I do to fix this problem. Do I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstallation? This problem did not exist for us prior to upgrading to 3842 today.

cpgaming 10-14-2009 04:37 PM

Ok I seem to have found a fix. I uninstalled vbexperience and installed the 3.85 beta version. That I notice doesn't have any of the settings options within the experience menu thereby fixing the problem completely. I guess i upgraded all of my webserver software and recompiled apache/php4/php5 for nothing.

are you gonna update this for vBulletin 4.0 ?

**fingers crossed** :)

Definitely. A version for vBulletin 4.0 Forums and Publishing Suite will be available as soon as I can get a copy of the beta and do the required changes. With the final release of vB4 I expect also to have a final version of vBExperience 4.0

In normal case, you only need to recount once. Also, please read the readme files in the ZIP to read more about optimization.

I removed it in 3.8.5 because 3.8.5 contains a lot more options. The menue has been overloaded with the links to the options. In previous version that links were also just shortcuts to the vBulletin options.

I would not say for nothing, you have now a more stable, security fixed version of your webserver :D
