Hey Tigga, did you ever fdigure out how to make it so Announcements would should up on the vBindex?
|
OK, I made the changes....it is still only [pulling post from the first FID entered. Which makes sense if the first ID has the # of post I set in the AdminCP.
Tigga, are you sure there isn't a query change that could make it pull one post per forumid? I wish I knew PHP better, but I am truly just learning it, working with it to convert all my site from ColdFusion to PHP...ugh!! |
Has anyone tried installing this with Version 3.0.0 Beta 4. I am trying to get it installed with it and keep getting the following error:
Warning: main(./config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/attroll/public_html/forum/admincp/myvb_install.php on line 5 Warning: main(): Failed opening './config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/attroll/public_html/forum/admincp/myvb_install.php on line 5 Fatal error: Call to undefined function: cpheader() in /home/attroll/public_html/forum/admincp/myvb_install.php on line 6 Can someone help me? |
Yuber - No, I have not had the time to do much at all lately.
CodeDawg - Anything is possible, but there is not an easy way to acomplish what you are trying to do. attroll - This script will not work with vB3. |
Tigga
Are you planning on making it work with vB3? |

This is a very nice mod.
Keep up the good work fellas. :squareeyed: |
I'm trying to figure out how to have this script more customized. More specifically adding another newsbits piece but with it's own option's as well as character limiting etc. I'm not advertising the site or anything, but this is what I have so far as redoing the entire myvbindex templates.

My buddy did this with his site XanNemesis. Basically he copied all the news sections in the index and copied them, changed the variables of news to xxxx and then added the appopriate sections in the admin.
It takes a tad bit of effort, but can be done. I am working on it for a picture of the day type section. |
