I've upgraded to php5 and nothing seems to have magicinally fixed itself, unfortunately. Issues I still have:

(1) When Group leader has no avatar, users within the group who DO have avatars do not show said avatars.

(2) View new posts (etc) links taking you to a blank page with no posts (such as Page 4 of 3) when the thread gets past 2-3 pages.

(3) If you have a post with a quote and regular text, when you preview, it only shows the quote and loses the regular text.

(4) If you have a post with a quote and hit preview, it inherits a title of some random thread from the forums.

(5) Post icons still do not work correctly. A post icon selected for the first post of a thread will show on the Group home page but when you read the thread, the post icon is the default. All subsequent posts do not show selected icons. If I go back to edit a post, it doesn't have an icon selected so I think it's not being saved to the DB correctly.

(6) A post with no title inherits the title of the group when you go to edit it.

That's all so far.....

I did find one issue was resolved, and that was the weird issue of getting a random forum's description at the top of the post report page when reporting. :)

The "View New Posts" etc is really starting to PO my users pretty bad :( so if/when you have a chance, can you look at it again? The issue is that after the thread gets a little past 2 pages (though sometimes it even happens on the first page) those links take you one page too far and so you see nothing at all, just the group description.

Also, I wondered how many threads show on the group home page? All of them? I have groups with tons of threads, and they've yet to get a page 2 or anything so I wondered when/if that happens. :)

Is it also possible to allow members to be kicked or to leave groups without deleting all of their posts? It leaves big, weird holes in conversations and I'd love to have it optional...

About the ability to have multiple group leaders. whoever starts the group will be able to appoint his fellow group leaders and then they'll basically have the same amount of power as the group starter. i.e. the ability to edit members, kick members, delete messages and so on and so fourth, etc. they won't be able to kick other group leaders however. the reason i'm mentioning this is because i'm about to start coding this feature and unless theirs resounding opposition to this i'll write the feature like this.

Hey folks, some of you may have noticed i've been a little quiet in the thread in the past week or two. this is due to work on GRPS 3.0 taking precedence. with GRPS 2.0 their were a flurry of late feature inclusions and bug fixes which convoluted code and have made it harder to support. I'm hoping not to repeat the same mistakes in 3.0 and thus I'm requesting that all feature requests are submitted/resubmitted ASAP. Please refrain from asking about the ETA of 3.0.x it will be ready when it's ready and as we get closer to release i'll post screen shots and feature lists etc. However at present the onus is on making sure that the core of the project is written as well as possible to hopefully prevent another 1500 post support thread. So please get your feature requests in ASAP so i can see what to include and what not to. Thank you very much.

Feature request for 3.0

• Compatible with 3.5.x
• Maintain VB's postbit & postbit settings
• VBPORTAL modules like newest group, hottest group, etc.
• Allow group catagory images via admincp
• Easier way to pick random group images in admincp
• Add the Group Tools in the usersCP if they have access to Groups
• Allow member group images when creating new group on/off via the admincp

One question How can I add the groups that the members are subscribed to in there memberinfo page so that it displays the same as it currently does in usercp?
