That is correct Paul, groupID 16 is the non-working ID group and is in the 'users' array.

Code:

Then I have no idea what your problem is without access to your site. I have six usergroups defined in my CMS file and they work just fine (and no one else seems to have this problem).

The chat is VERY nice!!!

When creating a private room, do you invite users to the room? If not, how do they find the room?

The drop down at the top of the chat window, it will show the users what rooms they're are, if you have it set with a passwd, it will prompt them once they switch to that room.

So if it's not set up with a password, anyone can enter? Basically it's a public room then.

I think my problem is that the flash chat sites I've visited are void of chatters at the time. So I have a hard time 'seeing' how to do some of these things...

Who are the 'powers that be' on vbulletin.org? Would they install this mod?

I meant it would be nice to have this installed on this board because it has alot of members. I don't have enough members on my board to make it a good place to test it out.

silurius, the other Flashchat integrated vbulletin boards I have visited don't have many folks chatting. So when I try to test a feature out, like the private forums, I don't have anyone to invite to the private room--so I don't know how the chat feature operates.

That is what I thought you were saying. I can't speak for the vB.org folks but I don't suspect they'll be doing something like that any time soon. Maybe post a request on the Tufat forum instead?

I've installed this but nothing shows up. Where is the "who's online" supposed to show up on my forum page? I'm using the latest VB -- 3.5.3

i have just one question in regards to this:

are we able to log all the convos in the FlashChat in some sort of an archived thread or something? just in case users who spend their time chatting away something valuable and want to look back on it at a later date or something?

It's built-in with Flashchat. Go to your chat/admin and read the conversations there. Setup the maximum stored messages as many as you want in flashchat config.php

Sorry but there isn't much I can tell you. As I have mentioned many times in the past, I don't have, or use, VBA, therefore I cannot answer questions about it. Why their forums would point you towards me, instead of helping, is a bit puzzling.

There is a side module for vBAdvanced that show the "Whos Chatting", and it can be found HERE hope that helps.

I run In vb 3.5.3 and I have FlashChat 452

FlashChat is integrated in my BD, but I can see in my forum...only in new page

Its possible I see FlashChat with my header em my footer page (Vbulletin)?
