Quick question / feature request:

If you exclude certain usergroups from seeing/using the mod, and you at the same time have disabled vBulletin notifications, then the exluded users does not see a notification link at the top.

vBulletin notifications should be ON for excluded usergroups.

Hi there,
I'm looking to buy the VIP version of this mod. Just wanna ask a question.

If i am to buy the 3 month package, does that mean after 3 months i am unable to update this plugin to the latest version. So at the moment if i buy i get 5.3 and in 3 months you have version 6 out, can i upgrade or do i have to buy the package again?

The question basically answers itself.
If your subscription runs out you will HAVE to buy an extension or you will be sitting with an outdated product.
If you decide to buy the pro again on a later time then you will be able to upgrade to the latest release.

I do believe this mod is expensive and a $20 increase from what it use to be is...meh..
From the previous track record I think $80 for 3 months of updates is a bit much, where for a while we didn't see development to some of the plugins. 3 months can just go like that in this world :)

I don't see any real value in the VIP because 3 months for an x amount of plugins will not get you many updates, if anything you are just paying for support.

anyways, that's just my opinion.

I think this is a good plugin (lite).

I agree, $80 is a bit of a stretch for 3 months. Considering how often this plugin gets updated. I love it though. The lite version is too limited though. Need a notification for a quoted reply, which is in the vip version,

Having trouble with the current version of vBSocial. Whenever it's enabled on my forum, the entire forum will freeze for a second every few seconds. It's not the browser as the browser itself continues to function. I have confirmed that my users also have this problem.

Increase the Ajax Interval in admincp by 20 to 30 seconds.

Hi Dave I have just redownloaded the pro and upgraded, but it is showing 5.2 not 5.3 in the ACP. (I did select overwrite).

Have you got the latest version uploaded on your site?

remove :

Inspect the element in chrome then locate the css

that's what I thought and have been trying to do.

From what I can see this is the CSS which controls it -

Even if I put !important it's not making any difference.

I have found the stylevar for the link colour and it's a valid colour - #00a1c3

even if I change it to #00a1c3 instead of the style var and add !important it's still not showing.

Unless I'm editing the compeltely wrong bit of CSS. other than the above I'm stumped.

I'm using firebug.

Ok I fixed it. It was because the header font was empty for some reason. Once I inputed a font type and size it showed up :)

Dave, Please add to the Links and Downloads notifications:
- Replies to your entries.

Same for Vaultwiki:
- Replies to a wiki you have contributed to.
- Replies to your wiki articles.

vBadvanced Links Directory:
- Items awaiting moderation.

2 more feature requests:
- Send emails for notifications.
- Notification setting grid similar to facebook. (to allow users to set for which events they want to receive notifications on-site, per email)

We had this as well. Increasing the time frame did not help. Reuploaded files, installed and reinstalled fresh several times and still a performance issues over the previous version. Could not use it. 3.0 works flawlessly.

I've noticed this and ive got it checking at 35 seconds.

But when using the site it freezes for a second or two every 35 seconds ish.
