You will just import a higher level file and recount. Please read more about this in the textfile readme_levels.txt

The points are updating every 10 minutes via cron, for users who have done any activity on the board.

This counts only if you defined a level xml that uses this.

The Points Market System is fully supported. There will not be an included shop.

Feel free and do your own level with for example 60000 level. It's all supported.

Hi phalynx, just uploaded the new functions_xperiance file, and than was unable to access the site, put old one backin and all ok.

I tried to overwrite it by importing the english VbExpirience translation over the swedish but it gave the same result.

A lot of the achievement icons aren't showing on my site. Any ideas. Particularly the level and rank achievements.

Phalynx, I lost all language settings when I imported the swedish translation. Maybe I shouldn't have checked the overwrite option when importing?

And when checking the translation only about 5% is translated, rest is in english. Even sentences switch from swedish to english, one word in swedish and rest in english for example. Quite useless as is but good to see that someone is working on it. Something you got sent to you?

Is it possible to use vBCredits point system or to disable the existing points system entirely?

The achievements/experience element of this mod is fantastic but I have vB Credits 2 installed and would like to use the credits or disable the points element of this mod, is that possible? If yes then how?

No, there is no possibility to exchange features between the modifications. vBExperience can replace the vBCredits functionality in collecting points. It's just not called Credits, it's called Experience and Points.

If you are in experience insight (for your insight) and then click on "show details", that link only goes to your profile. Wouldn't it be better if it pointed directly to the experience section in the profile?

Yes, it would be better. As I already told here in the thread (someone asked this already), I didn't found a way to switch the tab automatically.

I have a problem with Award attributions. When I test the awards within the admin panel, I do not have the same result as they are displayed in the Award tab within the forum.

I apologize if this has been answered, but i have installed this now and its wonderful! The only problem i see though is my forum has been open for at least 5 years now so there are many members that have lots of posts and they registered way back when. Even people that havent got nearly as much or are kinda newer than that ALL are almost to reach level 100 or have done so already. Thats no fun. Is there a way for me to increase how many points it takes to go up to the next level? Thank you

Maybe you missed the part about installing, espacially the part "3. Import a level product "vbexperience_level_1_?.xml" (see readme "Levels")."

There are instructions in the readme_levels.txt which level file should be imported. There are different level definitions as there are incomparable forums out there.

just a quick question about promotions.

i want create promotion when 3 requirements are met. e.g.

number of posts 250
days registered 240
points for users 4000

i know to convert the posts and days to points.

but is it possible to do a promotion based on more than one field.

i was thinking to set 3 promotions all with same starting usergroup and promotion user group. with display order set to 1 on all 3

would that work??? or would that just promate if either of the requirements were met not all.

also is it not possible to add an aditional usergroup promotion i.e add a usergroup to current one without changing current group

if non of the above is possible i think it would be a good idea to add at a later date

Currently the promotions are not supporting multiple conditions. This is planned for vBExperience 4.0.1
Additional usergroup promotions are a nice idea, I think I will integrate this.

Is there a way to issue different point values based on which forum the thread is created or responded in?

In other words I'd like to offer different point values for creating or answering a thread in a forum that deals with information and still other points value for creating or responding in a general chatty forum thread.

i've 31 points (archived league) and 7 for a live league ... but the xperience gives me 940 ... (10 points by default settings) i think that there is an issue on the count .... i think that i might have 380 points not 940 ..
