1st thing I noticed was my site got noticeable faster.

I'll report back on my SEO rating in 1 week or so.

I'm very surprised that I will not need 1 week to provide a follow up.

Removing this has already improved my SEO rating and Search Bots stay on my community longer.:cool:

I'd recommend un-installed this modification

Did I miss anything to unistall it?

Backup your database and then....

1) Make sure you did un-install it and not simply disable

2) Remove the files that you added (which came with this mod)

3) Rebuild your templates

4) Flush any cache system you maybe using

5) Use; Repair / Optimize Tables

Interesting.

StonePilot 01-10-2011 07:05 PM

I'm not interested in giving that level of backlink to any developer, so I will uninstall. That's like me giving them $hundreds in free advertising each month.

This has been running for 18 hours and already has 72 pages of search terms. From an SEO point of view, if people ALREADY found my site through the search engines, then I don't need this mod.

** Just disabled this product. I'm a little leary in removing it, any database errors when doing such? I guess I'll have to get ready for that with a fresh backup sitting by. Takes me like an hour to do a good backup so I'll wait for like Friday at midnight to get this removed.

No support seems to be provided.

No updates provided.

No questions answered.

And this seems to add 1 or 2 queries

Thinking I'll un-installed this.

This will be my last update on this.... A few here had contacted me on AOL & MSN asking me for some harder statistics, then just commenting on my community loading faster after I un-installed (which my site does load faster)

1) If you type my site name "Socially Uncensored" into any search page... I am now #1 (was originally #4 - 6 with this installed)

2) Bots stay on my site longer and more of them....

There are currently 83 users online. 18 members and 59 guests, with 6 spiders
Yahoo! Slurp Spiders (2), Google Spiders (2) Bing Spider (2)

You're welcome to see for yourselves though. I'll not be adding any further comment or addressing any further questions to this modification (sorry).

Mark as unstall

denman75 01-13-2011 10:37 AM

un installed ,no effort to explain whats going on ,dev not been on line for a while
some say SEO rating goes up ,that are some good reasons to say goodbye of this mod

PSC001 01-13-2011 10:44 PM

I do like seeing the search terms used to find threads, but this developer sounds like a shady +++++++.

Is there anything out there similar to this product but without all the BS?

final kaoss 01-15-2011 04:23 PM

Interesting but I find that they crawl more often with the addon enabled since it changes the content every once in a while.
There are currently 62 users online. 1 members and 32 guests and 29 spiders

At any given time, there's 29 or more spiders crawling around :D And all of my search terms have improved on the searches.

CRDeveloper 01-15-2011 04:36 PM

I did uninstalled this!

But i think this mod works most for threads, I've seen threads going #1 very fast. Auto SEO Long tail search traffic for every user's threads is what we get.

Still like they said, shady developer disappear, no support, no answers, ++++ it! Uninstalled lol!

cdoyle 01-15-2011 08:33 PM

I'm still wishing if someone could explain the difference between what this mod does, and keyword stuffing a page?

According to Google, keyword stuffing has a negative impact on ranking.

http://www.google.com/support/webmas...n&answer=66358

Isn't this exactly what this hack does? Ads keywords to a page created by the search query?

how to use the ban filter..?
keywords one per line or comma separated?

final kaoss 01-20-2011 05:11 PM

Still have the plugin installed, told google via webmaster tools to let it determine the crawl rate.... Over 51 googlebots crawling on the forum & god knows how many are crawling away on the blog.

So based on what I've seen, this plugin does NOT hurt the google rankings or the crawl rate in any way.

*Abhik, put one keyword per line

baktabul 01-20-2011 09:01 PM

which my site does not loading very fast. Just disabled this product. i want to keep search terms. How can i keep search terms? is there any pause

MAdotcom 01-21-2011 05:26 PM

Installed. Reading this other posts makes me think it's gonna cause more problems than benefits.

Leica.Robbiani 01-21-2011 08:31 PM

Hi there,

I also keep this mod installed.

I asked my members if they had noticed that my site is slower, no one of them have this noticed.

Also my Google rankings are much better than before. So this mod seems to be a great idea to bother the rivals.

The only pain in the a.. are the backlinks, but as the developer doesn't seem to give the promised support, I felt free to change the links in the Footer advertisment to wikileaks.ch.

Best regards

L.R.

final kaoss 01-21-2011 08:50 PM

You can remove the link if you want.

HughM 01-23-2011 05:17 PM

Hi MOGmartin,

I've installed this mod, and look forward to it doing good things to my site on google...

A couple of things that I noticed, though...

Can I suggest a couple of template tweaks, which get it to look better next to the bits below?

Where you currently have:
Code:

<div id="wgo_events" class="wgo_subblock">
The bits below are
Code:

<div id="wgo_events" class="wgo_subblock section">
And where you have:
Code:

<h3>
It feels slightly better if you have:

Code:

<h3 class="blocksubhead">
The other thing that I noticed is that, when I turn on "Add Template Name in HTML Comments", the link to your website mysteriously disappears...

tomoyo23 01-24-2011 04:31 PM

the searches with the word: ñ

to show in the forum: ñ

any solution for this? .. greetings

I just saw a xf forum working with this http://xenforo.com/community/threads...eo-cloud.8659/

Tested, and uninstalled.

I dont think a "copyright notice" constitutes adding a link farm to users forums.

All for an arguably questionable return.

The only measurable return I can see is from a significant percentage of the hundreds of users using this mod that dont know how or havent performed the edits that just end up providing back links to these websites run by the coder, thereby improving SEO on those sites run by the coder.

A simple "Copyright ? The Coder's Website", maybe linked, would have been sufficient.

Just not for me I guess.

Hello, is possibile use Fuzzy SEO also for the vB CMS? Or insert it...as Widget?

Thank you

And unlike Martin, the developer of that mod actually provides excellent support. The only time Martin bothers connecting with his customers is when he sends spam.

I do hope you know where you can stick the 35 quid I bought your products for, Martin.

Webinsane.com 02-07-2011 03:15 PM

Spam links at the bottom made me remove the product. Also it would be nice if words are not extremely large (at least in my template). I went to buy gold edition but to expensive for such a simple product. I suggest lowering price to 10 euro and I would buy it immediately.

daedelus 02-10-2011 05:01 AM

how do i remove the mod from my cpanel as i have disabled it and uninstalled it yet the option for mod is still in my admin menu

swissknife 02-10-2011 09:13 PM

Would anyone get this to work for vB 3.8.x ?
I will pay for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

final kaoss 02-10-2011 11:46 PM

First, find the location of the zip for fuzzy seo on your hard drive.
Second, open up vbulletin, disable the product.
Third, open FTP to your site (NOT cpanel). Compare the folders/files on your hard drive to your webspace, remove all files (including the xml) that the product introduces to your site.
Fourth optional step is to refresh the tab containing your forum admin cp area to verify that it's gone.

Swiss, just upgrade to vbulletin 4.

my site using iso-8859-2
any suggestions to fix this problem?

Is it possible to show search terms only to Googlebot? This script increase our server load from 2 to 8 or 10! (We have a very large forum)

Buy this product on February 2010 ! Never receive the customer status, never receive the access to the product... Very bad support...
