this only shows up if you're logged in, how do I change it?

Hi, I'm new to vbulletin forum (or any other, for that matter) and have never installed a mod before. Can someone please explain to me what exactly I have to do to install it?

I've downloaded the file, extracted it. What do I do next? Upload the whole thing through ftp into my general forum folder or what?

Extract the xml file to your desktop. From your admincp, go to "Plug-ins and Products", go to "Manage Products", and then select "Add/Import Product". Browse the the xml you just saved to your desktop. and upload.

2nd step in THIS mod is to upload files (from the upload folder) to your server via FTP.

I'm aware of the manual, but it is too lengthy, I can't seem to find any specific answer to my issues.

I suspect that "VBH New Tabs Option", as referenced in the original post, is the same thing as what I have under Plugins & Products > vBH - Add new tabs 1.2. However, when I click on it, I get the strangest redirect to some spanish-language forum.

On the very top left in your admincp... Settings, Options, and click the arrow down until you find this product. This area is where you will set most options on your board.

Already got it working, thank you! The directions left out "settings >" I suppose it is assumed by everyone else, but, like I said earlier, I just got the forum.

hi, first, zthis mod is great. but i have a little problem. since i have installed it i have 2 start /content.php) tabs. how can i fix it?

some one have try on 4.1.0 pl2 ?

I'm not sure I'm understanding how to make a tab appear selected. I've added these tabs:

Pro|forumdisplay.php/26-Pro
VIP|forumdisplay.php/47-VIP

What exactly should I put in the "tab selected" box to make these tabs appear selected when they are selected? Thanks!

The new version 1.2 is not working but the older version 1.1 works fine with vB4.X.X!

FIRST thanks for the link im going to try that one out ,,, however for this mod im i the only one that does see the option EDIT DELETE ADD SETTINGS at the top like in the attached picture ? on 4.1 patch 2.. all i see at the top is :vBH New Tabs Options
thats it no editing deleting or add settings like in the post pick ...

Great mod. However, is it possible to make the tabs appear in only certain forums? That would be great. :)

HI, i boguht a forum that had vbh installed and some custom tabs on the menu, Now i want to edit the content within these pages but dont know where to find them?

Where can I find these custom pages linked by the custom menu links?

My forum is mmaforum.se and If i for example click on Ranking on the menu i get to an old ranking, Where is that page to update it?

Tried to install this in 4.1.1 but came up with the error below.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /var/www/clients/client11/web26/web/includes/class_bootstrap.php(412) : eval()'d code on line 113

I edited xml file as discussed in previous post but may have done something wrong there can anyone help by maybe posting an edited copy of xml file so I can try again, really need additional tabs

Why this was this not included in vbulletin as a standard feature I WILL NEVER KNOW!

When I click on one of my tabs, the forum tab stays highlighted.
Did I do something wrong?

Also does this mod have the same highlighting issues all the others seem to have and if so has that not been sorted in 4.1.2

no issues as far as I'm aware. Most of the highlighting issues come from not properly setting THIS_SCRIPT.

As for 4.1.2, if you do not want any other links besides the ones you put in, and also this removes the small menu underneath aswell.

I am not looking to change the main Navbar stuff I just want to add this mod but without the copyright link at the bottom that people have complained about in previous posts. I tried to remove it as instructed but messed something up. Can someone who has this working in 4.1.1 please post the xml file with the code removed.
