Hmm, I've installed this fresh and followed all the steps. The mod is seriously awesome but I can't get avatars to show up in the comments. I've chmodded the thumbs folder and I've rebuilt both avatars and custom avatars. Any ideas? Thumbnails work ok for picture commenting, and when I view the image location, it gives me a long string, opposed to an image file in the thumbs directory. I'm pretty sure my images store to the database, and I installed vbulletin at the 3.7.x level.

Does it work with vB 3.7.5 ?

All was working like a charm, and didn't do any changement in your hack, but since it is insalled I tried some other hacks (maybe there is a correlation) and I just pay attention yesterday that the :

Video tag settings

Options in the AdminCP don't 'work' anymore. I mean when i click on the links nothing is appearing (even if I can access the 'Video-directory Details' via the VB options menu).

EDIT: I found that my problem is related to the XML cp_nav file

I don't know why but the &amp; is not parsed when I 'over' the link in my adminCP with my mouse it's written "options.php?do=optionsdogroup=videodirectory" instead of "options.php?do=options&dogroup=videodirectory ". I don't know why and moreover and don't know how to fix such a thing heheh.

the video directory looks great, is easy to use and hassle free. even the installation was interesting with the VBSEO acknowledgement.

the vbadvanced plugin also compliments this.

okay, i have a question:
For the ease of the members, if it was possible to add a "Video URL: __________ Submit" right in the video_home. which submits the video automatically to a category. doesn't even matter you can't choose categories.

I read now all of the 39 pages of comments and so on about this Mod, and I still don?t know how to configure the Video Hosters right.

Youtube works, but the others don?t. I have no idea what to put into the URL fields of the other video hosts that come with the Mod. Someone can lighten my stupid self up ? :)

I don?t want to say anything, but anyone wants to add something or edit something. So that leads me to the conclusion that you guys have that thing already running completely. Then why is it too hard to ask for such a little help then letting me know how the Videohosters that come with the Mod, except YOUTUBE which worked from the start, have to be configured in order to work. Seems you all got that working.

I don?t find any hint about that in any manual and noone can tell me just that little thing ? :(

I can't get YouTube HD videos to play in their bigger sized player formats even with the &fmt=22 extension to the URL. I see the example site and the Walt Disney fan site have their HD clips in the proper screen size, but even when I copy their HD video's URL to my forum for testing it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Jaxel changed it so that all you have to do is change the "http" to "hdef" rather than having to remember the &fmt=22 or where to put it. Try that and see if it works. :D

If you look on page 20 and post #286 in this thread, Jaxel included the file for the Veoh. If you're looking to do "other" hosters, you might want to look that file up in an editor and play around with the settings. I don't know enough of that piece of it to do it. :(

Well, according to the Mod VEOH is supported, and yet, if I try to add a Video from VEOH, lets say this (http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/ca...521415sjpeBwSy), I get a "INVALID URL" message.

Veoh changed their URL structure... you can still use the old Veoh URL structure...

Here is the file for the new URL structure.

When you?re on the FTP of your Webspace where you host your vB Forum, you got Folders & Files. And in FTP clients with which I assume you connect to your Webspace, you can usually do something like right-mouse-click on a Folder and then you should have something like CHMOD which basically means that you can change the Permissions of a Folder or File.

777 means complete access. Which is what this Folder needs in order to work with the Mod. Whats the FTP Client you use ?

Ok, right click on the Folder where you need to change Permissions, and click on FILE PERMISSIONS, which is on the bottom of the right-mouse-click menu. Mark all checks to get 777 or change the numeric value below to 777. Shouldnt be a problem. ;)

You did set the right permissions to all the stuff like in the Description ?

That means also all Folders thats in the /videothumbnails folder. Is that all set to 777 ?

Are there anymore hosters to add. Like I know Greeks AME mod has an XML file that has a ton of hosters...

Megavideo! Autoplay and Fullscreen options dont work because Megavideo sucks.

and fixed files so you dont need the www. (youtube file already has this)
