I will update the release post, but the docs won't be updated just for a small change to the instructions.

And the block codes was originally in the vBOptions but was moved to the templates as the use of the vBOptions severely limits the functionality available in the blocks. Simple things like basic variables are not available via contents through the vBOptions. It doesn't mean that I don't think about a better solution for it for 3.0 when I start writing that (I'll get to it eventually).

hi.....basicly in photoplog addon the column comes up at the bottom..how can i sort this out :)

I can't seem to unzip your 2.2 file - it converts the folders to 0 size files. Also, there's a lot of ".DS_Store" files from Mac which comes through, too. Can you recompile?

I'm afraid this doesn't work for me. I can only see the left/right colums when I activate it, but I don't see any links. My usergroup can view it and I can even smaller the columns, but I just don't see any links while I activated some and all of them through the Ultimate Side Columns options. I tried all of my 4 themes, including the vbulletin default. No go for me. Any reason?

Is there a way to have two left columns?

For example: Column 1 will show on Pages X , X , X , X

Column 2 will show on pages O , O , O , O

But still on the left side - so two left columns, with different things?

If you just want two left and no right, use the manual tempate edits but instead of putting the right variable in the footer edit, put it right after the left variable in the header edit. Then treat your left column and right column as separate left column instances

Hi Kerry-Anne,

I need to close my left column and display my right column. But my right column just won't show up. Could shed some lights what might have gone wrong? I am on vB 3.6.8.

I unzipped the filed and uploaded them to the /forum directory but I can do not see the options under VB options

I am very new to this. what should I check?

Hey all,

I've installed this version, following the instructions to the letter on vb 3.7.3

I am trying to move my statistic and login box to the right column but they are just not working.

i thought that support was included for conditionals now?

I have lifted the login box code exactly as it was, and the stats code exactly as it was and neither work.

Cany anyone help?

Hi. Great mod. I am having to add the code in myself or this mod will not work with my style I guess.. the code I'm using is

It works great looks great but when I click on new thread the column has a BIG gap on the right side between the column and forums. This is a left side column I am using. I have added that code to the bottom of the navbar..

I have a problem, I was worried and I did not read the tutorials, so

I had 1.0 and I rewrite from 1.0 to 2.0 next 2.1 and next 2.2.

Now I had a problem in Vboptions, in "Display Pages For Left Column" and Display Pages For right Column" say:

"It has happened an error while the archives of bitfields were processed, the following information was given back:" In my forum is in spanish :erm:

SOLVED! Twitter Updates working now. I guess it takes several hours for code to work. This post was like going to a mechanic; problem goes away while talking to mechanic.

USC displays the text "Twitter Updates" but doesn't display latest twitters. Code been running for several hours but remains blank despite updating twitter. Code in USC template

Hello,
Now I have a new problem, I hope can help me.

I put two FLASH but the bar of the Title (anuncios) appeared underneath the FLASH (check pictures)

I tried putting in start HTML of flash <tr><td class="alt1"> and the end </td></tr> and the FLASH appeared towards the right, outside the measures of the Web.

I need to put the bar "anuncios" above. www.motofanaticos.com

The zip file was made with an Apple and at least for some it is incompatible with the Vista unzip utility. Got around it by downloading pkunzip.

Using Vista to unzip the file causes errors which are not readily apparent. Including leaving files out without telling you. So when you upload, you think you uploaded everything but you didn't Very annoying. It might help if someone would recompile using Windows.

How can I move the breadcrumb area into one of the columns? It would include the login/private_messages box as well as the current location.

When I move the code for the log-in/PM area it always shows the log-in form even if I'm logged in.

Everything is finally working. Thanks for a great mod. All of these problems are because people think they are following the instructions but they are not.

I have a final question. I have my right column set up to be 160 pixels wide. Block 11 and 12 are fine but Block 13 keeps being about 1/4 inch wider. It seems to be due to the border. The border won't go away even if I use "0". In fact "1" doesn't make it any narrower, either. It screws up the symmetry.

Here is the code I am using for Block 13:

The image is only 160 pixels wide. Using Height and Width doesn't help either.

I wonder if it is possible to include dynamic content. I created a Plugin using the code below:

However, if I add $includedphp to usc_block_11 for example, it doesn't show the contents of $includedphp.

I am aware that this is not an issue with this product. However, maybe someone is already loading dynamic content into a Column and can help out with this.

Different scripts/etc have different sizes. Is there a way to unify all teh sizes of the boxes regardless of the items inside?

Followed all the install instructions for USC 2.2 within VB 3.7.4, even with it all turned on I get one title block on the left side at the top which has a black gap that is too wide and one at the bottom on the left, not the top right where it should be. Also mucks up the size pushing the whole forum off one page view.

Any ideas how to get the block at the bottom over to the right where it should be and make the black gaps smaller? (sorry I'm not an expert so excuse the terms used) Thanks.

I've made big progress and now I'm down to the little niggly things.

Make sure it is in global_start hook location and keep changing the execution order until it works. I can't recall what it needs to be off the top of my head.
