Is there a way to show # of people or members in the cahtbox on the forum home page? Not the entire chatbox, just something so others can see if there are people chatting.

Add "%" before each format parameter. This is required for some languages.

Go to hack settings and change m-d-y to %m-%d-%y, and H:i to %H-%i.

It appears twice for both registered and unregistered users.

My "Show ChatBox on" setting does say "index" (the default) and I added the Chatbox to the navbar template manually.

dose any one know if it is possible to add this chatbox as a module on Vbadvanced CMPS?

never mind , i found it on page 9 post 128. the coder of this mod should include that tutorial on top of this page as 70% of VB users use CMPS

used the tutorial to add the chatbox to CMPS but that just adds it below the navbar , any ideas how to make it as a module?? *center module)

some people can use smiles, how to disable it? i disabled smiliebox

Hack settings > "Total smilies available (0 to disable smiliebox, 1 to use all smilies)".

If you want to disable smilies completely, including manually entered smile codes, then there is no such option in current version.

Hi! Thanks for a great chatbox.

As you all know vbulletin is now in 3.7.1 p2 and has introduced a bunch of new stuff, among which is something to prevent all kind of hacks. This affects the Cyb ChatBox. When you try to delete a message in the chatbox you will get this:

So do anyone have a suggestion to how we can work arround this issue?

I think we should take a closer look at the last link and update this excellent chatBox accordingly.

Just to confirm. It is the newly added CSRF protection that is causing this plugin to fail. We should update this asap - its quite easy. To all of you who cannot wait (me included) I just have to say that you can get by this by updating the templates to include the required hidden field in all the chatbox POST requests.

hi i installed the chatbox and it works
however there's a problem
everything is ok when i write in english

but when i try to write in hebrew and press enter to post the message
nothing happens

Cybernetic -> Ok, I found out how to place the chat in a specific forum other than the homepage. You should probably update your first post for others...

Go into Forum Admin panel >> Vbulletin Options >> Cyb - Chatbox
Find: Show ChatBox on...
Enter: index (default) for homepage and/or forumdisplay if you'd like to show it in another specific forum.
Find: Position on page - Choose "Disable"

Style Manager >> Forum Display Template >> ForumDisplay >> Find: $navbar
Insert the following under $navbar:
<if condition="in_array($forumid,array(your forum # seperated by , if more than one))">
$cybchatbox
</if>

I would suggest:

Go into Forum Admin panel >> Vbulletin Options >> Cyb - Chatbox

Find: Show ChatBox on...
Enter: index (this will make it show on homepage)

Find: Position on page - Choose "Disable"

Then for each style, put in the chatbox manually,
Style Manager >> choose each style >> Forumhome Template >> FORUMHOME >> Put $cybchatbox below $navbar

For your iphone style, just don't put in $cyberchatbox and it will not show.
