When I try to upload the BitfieldXML file I am getting an invalid file specified error. How do I upload this? I take it I don't upload it where I uploaded the first XML file?

Umm, I was trying to do the same as I did with the first component of the mod. That is, through manage products, etc. Uploading the XML file there.

I take it that's the wrong spot.

I do not have VBA Dynamics so i cant help you.

they seem to be similar in the way they funnction - so im just asking are the both prtty much the same thing or a huge differencve exists?

Maybe I am missing some point here, why isn't mine working?? I upload the XML file found in that root folder in the peer folder in the forum. While the other XML imported it.

It is turned on from the ADMIN CP, but when I post any link to do with YouTube, it just shows it as normal URL. Do I have to make HTML enabled?? I have HTML disabled on all forums.

Ive installed it,but i don't know how to et it to work on my forum and that screen shot of the setting how do you get to that?

I just got it working on mine. There are probably a few ways to do this, but this is how I did it and it worked so...

1. - Go to your "AdminCP" and then click on and expand "Plugins & Products".
- Click on "Manage Products".
- Scroll all the way down and click on "Add/Import Product".
- Click on the "Browse" button after "EITHER upload the XML file from your computer" and find the "product-passivevid.xml" file on your computer.
- Click on "Import".

2. - Upload the Bitfield XML to your server.
- Copy it to "where ever your forum is located"/includes/xml/
- For instance, mine is something like /home/forums/includes/xml/

3. - Go back to your "AdminCP" and click on and expand "vBulletin Options".
- Click on "vBulletin Options" in the expanded area.
- On the right, find "passiveVid Settings" and highlight.
- Click on "Edit Settings".
- You should now have the screen shot.

what do you mean by that?

He means go to the url at the very top of the page in youtube or whatever in your address bar, highlight and copy the url and paste it where you make comments on vbulletin as it is and the video will come out.

they are different, his makes database changes, and this one changes it on the fly. (this one also lets you change the display)
