It seems to replace cron.php?&rand= with -.html?&rand=

I don't think my URL rewrite is working correctly. I'm using the htaccess method and my URLs currently look like this:

Is the thread supposed to be in SEO-friendly format as well?

There seems to be a problem with this mod and 3.6.7PL1 (at least in my install) If I have it enabled at all, my archive is not working properly. it will should the forums, but no the threads.

Anyone know a way to fix this?

why would you want to show the archived threads ?

so google and such can SEE everything in the forum. without it, all google sees is the forum and subforum, but not the thread.

Yes. In Admin CP | Zoints SEO options:

1. Set Rewrite /archive/ to /sitemap/ to "No"

2. Set Use Archive as Sitemap to "Yes"

3. Set Use Zoints Archive Navigation? to "No"

In Admin CP | vBulletin Options | Search Engine Friendly Archive:

1. Set Display Simple View of Threads to "No"


These settings work fine in every version from 3.6.4 to 3.6.8 (disclaimer - I don't use and don't recommend mod_rewrite in Zoints SEO or any other SEO add-on).

yep and that seems to have been my problem because your workaround will not work with rewrite enabled...

Do you know that to be true? My comment said only that since I don't use mod_rewrite, I don't know if it would work - I haven't tried it. I didn't say it wouldn't work.

for seo, i've installed zoints 2.2.2 and it works fine for me.
after creating a category forum, i've noticed that the category
link is a file and not a directory:

any idea about how to make this a directory ?

I found a bug. With this product installed, administrators can no longer password protect individual forums. I disabled all of my products except this one and users were not allowed to login to password protected forums. As soon as I enabled this product they were able to login. I've also tested this with all my products enabled and this one disabled; members can access password protected forums as long as this product is disabled.

This means the installation of this particular product disables built-in vBulletin security features. Looks like we need an update!

Unless there is a specific option in the panel that needs to be focused on, I'm assuming the product as a whole disables the security.

At first I had installed Zoint SEO to my old domain , like sitename1.com and it works perfect

But then our old domain was closed because of some reasons so we moved to the new domain , like sitename2.com.And ı start to reinstall all template modifications and hacks.

İn addition to this , ı tried to install Zoint SEO to our new domain.I got phases step 1 step.And soon ı got a problem about .htaccess file

When ı form new .htaccess file and upload on root of my forum , it works but images may be seen like "X" and when ı want to get into a forum , it guides or anonymizes old domain.Most of things on my forum anonymize to old domain

So how can ı change this for my new domain ? How can ı solve this problem ?? I really need this for my new domain

Just turn off the "Rewrite URLs" option (mod_rewrite). vBulletin doesn't need it. The valuable portions of Zoints SEO are in the other features.

The current version works in 3.6.8.

It's too bad that it redirects to an infinite loop when cookies are not enabled in the browser. Though cookies are enabled by default in all browsers, there aren't statistics of the percentage of www users who may have them disabled.

Plus, forums are rewritten as html files, not directories.

I've removed ZSEO and will stick to VbSEO. But thank you for sharing it anyway.

I have only a question for the community... my sitemap is strange (LINK)... I say this cause when you click, after have choosen the forum and the subforum, on a link of a post (correctly rewrited) you are faced to the page with the full graphic content instead of the page with reduced content.
It's only my problem?... maybe a wrong set in my configuration?

I'm testing this on 3.6.8 ... everything seems to work well(using url rewrite without mod_rewrite). However, my archives seem to be giving me some issues. I've gone through most of this thread and have set my options as recommended by the following post:

If I turn off url rewrites, then the archives seem to work as usual. If I turn them on(once again not using mod_rewrite) I cannot access any of the threads. I click on a forum and nothing happens! Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any work arounds for this yet?

I have mod_rewrite enabled and appropriate option selected in settings.
