updated!

Fungsten 05-06-2007 10:11 PM

Is this another update in the past hour or so? Thanks.

Spleasure 05-07-2007 03:46 PM

I think I forgot a little thing. As long as the version number is alright, you should be fine.

[edit]
I just removed the "is in beta phase" flag, so that's why it's listed as updated again.

Burley 05-07-2007 04:49 PM

Jorrit, did you read my post/question on the previous page?

It would be a great way to control the size of the users sig.

Geweldige hack!

It has been mentioned, will perhaps be implemented in the future.

Going to Install

Foghorn Deadhor 05-12-2007 09:34 PM

Will it be possible to make this work with attachments? Sorry if this has already been asked, but I don't like default thumbnails and would like the user-customizability of this function to work with attachments as well.

coffee 05-13-2007 05:42 PM

Works great with vB 3.6.6 !

Strafe 05-14-2007 01:44 AM

Great work! I already installed this mod on my forums.

HOWEVER,

There is one certain thread I am having resizing problems: http://www.luniafan.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1575

As you can see, the large images have all been resized but it seems like the tables in my forum still go larger than the assigned size.

Can someone help me out with this?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

EDIT: This seems to be happening when theres a lot of large images posted on a single thread (about 5+ large images). What could be happening?

TrIn@dOr 05-14-2007 01:16 PM

After upgrading 3.6.5 to 3.6.6 and updated the modified templates, this mod is still working.

Thanks.

cupra 05-14-2007 10:12 PM

great mod, Installd :P
thx a lot

johnstires 05-15-2007 02:16 AM

This is a great mod.

How exactly does one retemplate the warning? I'd like it to be below the image with the yellow triangle icon removed and justified to the right.

I was able to remove the triangle icon via the js script, but I can't figure out how to move below and how to justify the text to the right.

Ideally it would be nice to just allow for no warning, where the user just clicks on the image and it resizes. Just my 2 cents. Great mod!

Strange problem. Does it occur when using the default template as well?

you can edit those properties via CSS, they're in the ncode_imageresizer_headinclude template.

Guest210212002 05-17-2007 09:29 PM

Great mod, but I'm getting W3 validation errors with the "onload" attribute.

Quote:

You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not support that attribute for this element. This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Transitional" document type to get the "target" attribute), or by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "marginheight" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).

This error may also result if the element itself is not supported in the document type you are using, as an undefined element will have no supported attributes; in this case, see the element-undefined error message for further information.
Here's a thread with the problem if you want to toss into validator.w3.org:

That was tested on localhost. Post any animated image like this ... and set maximum width smaller (i.e, 100) ... and choose enlarge in same window ...

When you enlarge photo, it will return small ... and the drop menus will appear/disappear quickly ..

I think alot might have this problem ..

Remove these lines as well to get rid of the image:
Code:

var mimg = document.createElement('IMG');
mtd1.appendChild(mimg);

dope15gd 06-18-2007 05:40 PM

Is there an easy way to modify this to work with images that are quoted. I'd like to have it perform normally with the first post, but when an image is quoted I'd like the quoted image to be around 200px width.

I'm hoping there is an easy way to perform this.

Thanks

I'm using This Mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=145766 to control the quoted images. It basically edits the class_bbcode.php in the includes so you can append special properties to quoted images. I appended onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this); to the end, but that obviously just makes them act like a normal image. I'm wondering how I can differentiate them and control them separately from the normal images

frosch68 06-21-2007 12:48 PM

*installed*

but one question...

i use highslide with this hack:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=139167

what have i to do, that this works with resize images in img-tags...
