I was installed and crashed around step 9of 10 and now can't finish. Is there a way to uninstall and start over or finish the install.

Drago912 02-11-2006 08:51 PM

I dont understand why there's so much trouble...............installing with the latest version has gone flawlessly and all aspects of this mod work great. Also, all username options in the store are working with firefox........saweeeet!

Thanks for this awesome hack!

Glad it works for you and you like it :p

I'm wondering the same thing. I have installed this on a test board several times with no problems. My only guess it that users are using old zips, doing something wrong, or have already tried installing from previous versions and had an error.

what are the know bugs for the latest release? are there any bug?

That is an error fixed in the first update. Try re downloading zip and replacing files, then re upload xml.

Are you sure you're using the latest version? Also, have you tried re importing the product?

Also, not to offend anyone. However, it is not really possible for on person to install it and have it working flawlessly and another to have errors, using the same files.

Yeh, I reimported the xml file and it says the file is version BETA 1, but shouldn't it be BETA 2? I redownloaded twice from here now, it's still the _old_ version. *confused*

It could just be that Revan forgot to rename it. However, it could also be that you have the old ushop on your computer still and it's not updating when you extract the zip. This would explain your errors.

SBTB 02-11-2006 11:06 PM

I've installed the product and it says it installed correctly however when I go to uShop Manager in Admin CP I get the following error:

How can I change the setting for the thief option that determines wether a person fails or wins. I found the settings in the actions.thief.php but I'm not sure how to change them. No one on my board is winning. lol

Also I it takes the poits from the one stealing when they lose. But I thought it gave those points to the target. Am I wrong about this? Or do I have to set that up in the options?

Try going to update in mass and saving values. See what happens then.

Possible Bug:

When trying to add a new category I am getting the following error message: "You may not leave the name fields blank." But I didn't leave them blank.

Warnung: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /includes/functions_ushop.php (Zeile 535)

Warnung: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /admincp/ushop/ushop_admin.categories.php (Zeile 47)

[Saar Edit]
If you click "Save Values" all failure messages will disappear. It's working bow.
Thanks for help!

XD I love that you guys have the mysql_schema.php. I just added that stuff but now I guess I have a code question.

I getting alot of errors related to ushop_act useage.

Code:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /admincp/ushop/ushop_admin.ushopmanager.php on line 13

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /admincp/ushop/ushop_admin.massupdate.php on line 160

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /admincp/ushop/ushop_admin.usergroupenmasse.php on line 15

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /admincp/ushop/ushop_admin.categories.php on line 47

PHP Code:

From ushop_admin.massupdate.php
foreach ($vbulletin->ushop_act as $actionid => $action

Hey I have installed this and have a couple of questions.

- How can I add my own option, that allows users to purchase a custom signature? Need help quick please.

- When i click on the 'Points' or '(Donate)' on my profile bar when i post, it opens up a new window with a message saying "There are none of this item left!". Any Ideas? Also how can i get it to display in the profile bar thing, how many points they have?

If you can code the action for the points for custom sig then that would be an easy.

$post[points] (in threads) | $bbuserinfo[points] or userinfo[$points] <-- displays points on almost all shop and cash hacks. Now you can set the number of donations there is per a certain amount of time. So that's just some basic playing around. XD

??? Sorry, that meant nothing to me. Can you explain what you are talking about a bit better please.

ThePimp 02-12-2006 08:57 AM

Please see my Modification Request:

Ky Kiske 02-12-2006 09:04 AM

$post[points] (shows points in threads)
$bbuserinfo[points] (shows your points outside of threads)
$userinfo[points] (shows others points outside of threads)

Now I am having problems with my admincp but in the previous version of uShop you had the ability to set the "quantity" of items. It's highly liable that alot of people are donating to eachother. So I would set donations to "-1" To put it in an infinite loop. Mainly because it's a negative interger and negative intergers are hard to actually get to because do to technicalities "They don't really exist".

Coding the action.customsig.php should be easy but would require you research useage of the database table usertextfield and the signature row.

the url to the uShop admin is ushop_admin.php. I would download the new stuff as they normally are recommending. XD I am customer service on this and I am not even on their staff. But it's most likely a problem with the cpnav_ucs.xml in the includes directory. It's outdated. Download the new files and they. Don't worry about reinstalling if everything is working fine.

Murty 02-12-2006 10:01 AM

I am getting the feeling after looking around ushop and ucash, that it is not properly installed or something, because you cant donate, buy items or anything. Any thoughts? When i do click on donate it opens a window with this message "There are none of this item left!". I really need help.
