Special characters like that can't be tagged in the Quick Reply box, it's a limitation of web technology as it stands atm, sorry :(

xmmm, what about to use the member ID or the username?? in that case .. they could use the ID for members that could not be tagged cause of the username...

Also.. How difficult is for "Tag Users" to be possilbe to edit?? I put a user by mistake and I want to remove him..

Hmm, I think (I'm not sure, another member of my team helped out with the RegExp for the mentions) that [MENTION=userid]username[/MENTION] works, so that may already be possible :)
Try it out and let me know :)

Atm, it's not possible to un-tag users, but it's something we can look into adding in a future version :)

Anyway to exclude tags from incorrectly parsing for instance

username@HOTmail.com?

the word in the capitals always gets parsed because someone has an account 'hot'.

Sadly that's not possible in this version. We will look into improving our username matching code in a future version. No word on when exactly that'll arrive, though :(

Thanks for this mod. Is there a way to customize the css output of mentions in posts? For instance I'd like link to render same as custom [user] bbcode I have which looks like

Not currently, no. We may consider allowing custom markup in the future, but if so that would most likely be a Pro-only feature :)
