My problem is also over, it only works when the "view forum/thread" restrictions are set to yes, even if you don't need them.
Same goes for the enable whole mod option.
Pitty support is so low on this mod.

If I install this mod on my 3.8.1 site, can I uninstall it easily or does it leave stuff behind, like extra tables or extra columns in the db? I've always wondered this on these types of mods.

As far as I know this mod will remove everything, also the extra tables. Not all mods do that, but many or even maybe most which make extra tables, do.
However, you manually have to remove the download directory and the files you place within there.

You need to have set -everything- to YES (and then save first) where you want to use the "for all existing forums" option.
If there is one of them set to NO and you use the all forum option, you will get to the smilies page.
Otherwise put everything to yes, save and then try the "for all existing forums" option and you will see that I'm correct.:)

Normally Cybs hacks are great, but this a bit lazy work I guess because it should be rather easy to give an error notice instead of redirecting to the smilies page.

I'm still getting redirected to the smiles page .. never mind !

If every option is set to YES and you saved it, and afterwards you still get to the smilies page, probably another mod is conflicting.
That's more difficult to find

But it's a pity there is so little support on this mod, especially with this issue.
