I have cleaned up this thread from a lot of noise.

It is every authors right to choose if he will allow others to release modified versions of his work or not. The decission should be respected and it serves no purpose to post over and over again that you are not happy with the decission.

Also advertising your own work in the thread of another modification is not allowed. If you think there is a need to discus something, use the appropriate forum for it, if you have coded your own solution, just release it. There is no reason why you should post in this thread about work you are creating.

Then why haven't you removed all this user's post from the "Integration" thread for this mod?

You can do this by editing your template to something like this:

HTML Code:

<if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 1, 6">$rsvp_form</if>
Replace the 1,6 with whatever groups you want to be able to see the mod and put a comma between each one.

I am confused by this. What will this work on? I have 3.8 and looking for a way for people to RSVP, i have VB events. will this work with that? please explain.

It will work with 3.8. It does not work with the Evercraft's mod, Event Forums.

I installed Event Forums on 3.8 and it worked fine, I installed your mod on 3.8 on its own and it worked fine, why can't they be made to work together.

has the Farcaster's Event Attendance & vb Event Forums Integration been updated for 3.7.3?

Leo Brazil 02-04-2009 03:11 PM

I have just installed it on 3.8.0
Set up everything, that's very easy to undertand BTW.

But when try to choose any of the options I created the only thing I can get is: "The response you gave to this event was not in the list of valid responses"

I've checked this using an event I already had in my calendar. I had to edit this event to include RSVP options for this and to be showed on event page. Everything seems to be running OK but this.

Any ideas ?

Edited: More info about this issue:

I was checking database for this mod and looks like db table eventattendance is empt. The valid options should be storaged into it, isn't it ?
I've tried to remove the function that verifies Valid Options just to see what happens. Now I can choose but the page just refreshes and nothing else happens db eventattendance is still empt. It seems a write function to write on this db is missing or something. Tried also to check and optimize those two db tables created by this mod but everything OK.

BTW, this happens with a fresh installation on 3.8.0, I meam may be it's a different situation then have it installed on 3.7.X and upgrade to 3.8.

Some help with this will be very welcome.

Sorry to bump this but any ideas ?
