What this thread demonstrates to me is that If you are going to hire a coder to do some work VB.ORG is not the place to look. They seemingly turn a blind eye to members actively ripping people off and are judging by this thread less than willing to take any affirmative action.

I don't think this is the place i would look to hire anyone...

There is some good to come out of this thread, what will happen is people coming here will read this, and it will start to make people more cautious and aware about who they hire, and will make them reluctant to part with money first.

This can only benefit the person looking for a paid hack in the long run as they wise up, and not the coder. For example, the coder who this thread is about has his own site. How many people now who read this would hire him for anything now on his site. Not many is my guess.

In the long-run, it will be his loss

oh dunno about this, but the site he advertises in his profile is actually up for sale
http://extremescripts.com/

Maybe he already lost the domain name. I don't think he owns huntingmoon.com

He might have decided he's had enough. Looks to me like he just closed his site, and if he registered the domain name with the forum host. It might be them who selling it. As the host I was with before, when you bought a domain with them. They registered it in there name instead of yours. So when you closed a site, they effectively still own the domain to sell on.

Might be the same situation with him.

Not the same site even though he's using the same style. This is just a gaming site he's doing. The other site is where he was selling scripts.

The guy has had multiple sites over the years and has used both domains in the past IIRC. He takes them offline as quickly has he builds them it seems and I wouldn't be surprised if these two are no longer online in a couple of months.
