Yep, installing this hack killed my RSS feeds also.

Another strange issue is that its worked perfectly except for two instances. i had two people sign up in my forums the last two days, both spammers, both made single posts with dozens of links, which they should not be able to do until they have 10 posts.

Do you have auto parse links enabled or disabled? I have had the same thing happen but the links were not parsed (Not Clickable)

I had to uninstall this on all my sites because it interferes with articlebot. I believe it intereferes with the default rss poster as well.

Glad to know I am not the only one experiencing the RSS issue. Maybe the developer will take a look at it.

So the limits you set in the vBoptions in admincp also affect the RSS.

It does not matter. Code Monkey and I have been working on this error for a few days. If you have this installed, no matter what the settings are, it will stop both the articlebot and the VB RSS automated postings in its tracks.

Once I also uninstalled it, they both started working again just fine

This is a great modification, I take nothing away from Cyb's development at all, It just needs to have the corrections made to bypass the RSS feeds and/or articlebot!

This is the same issue that arose when Amykar had her similar hack. Scripts that post or do things in the background have sessions and all the userinfo stuff turned off since it's a waste of resources and not needed for the task at hand. Therefor this mod can't really tell how many posts the poster has and will disallow it.

What would be nice is if Jelsoft would add a constant to vBulletin. Such as "IS_BOT". Then hacks could check if that is set and not perform their task of moderating the post.
