I installed this and have the following problems

1. Missing phrases, but i fixed that by adding them
2. It will tell my members they have already filled out the application, even though they haven't. This has happened about 4 out of 15 times now.

maybe your user is using the same IP? like if they are using it from a school computer or something and someone already submitted with that IP...

anyways... my questions...

that'd be dumb if this went on a IP basis and not a username...and the people arent on the same ip, i checked

i had this installed on vb3.0.7. i removed it from the db when i upgraded. i followed all the intructions and i run the installer and it goes through creates the db files and says done, and then modify the files. yet when i go to upload the product-modappsys.xml it just gives me an error:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.3:

Invalid SQL:

INSERT INTO vb3_setting

'',

'modappsys'
),
(

'maf',

);

Classname : vb_database

and if you go to the manage products after that it shows up there.

and if you actually go to the modd app it's not inside any of the templates.

http://www.anime-extreme.net/forum/modapp.php

and i don't see where we can approve the mod applications as there is nowhere to have it added into the admincp. like in the last one on the left side where it gives you all your list of vb options it had a maf option now there's not one.

please help!

Installed

This modification does work [although i do get errors, which have been mentioned by most other people, such as cannot find maf_deleted or maf_rated]

I also get this error on one certain application when i attempt to delete it:
Code:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.3:

Invalid SQL:

                DELETE
                FROM maf_application

Any help would be appreciated ^

i guess you can make the cron job as often as you like and im assuming if there is nothing for it to do then it wont do anyhing

or would that lag the forum?

When you get the message in your thread

"Their are new moderator applications that need rating, please go and rate them, if need be return here to discuss them further."

I think it should say

Their are new moderator applications that need rating, please go and rate them in your modcp, if need be return here to discuss them further.

That would be better.

I also wouldnt mind getting rid of those few errors that are appearing for every member.

and i just want to confirm this.

If a member gets below 7 after 2 weeks, then they get emailed/pmed and told they are not accepted? (is it only email or is it both pm and email, and is that question true)

What happens if they are above 7 after 2 weeks? what happens then?

Also if i want to change some of the application to suit my board, what do i edit? are they phrases? And what happens if i want to add another question and box for them to write in, how do i do that?

Thanks

On rating a application, I get this error "Could not find phrase "maf_rated".

Any ideas?

How to add that rate applications to admincp cause when I do the required file edit it ruins my admincp. How that?

The Realist 03-03-2006 09:08 PM

Are you editing the file correctly?

I boobed the 1st time I did it and my admincp buggered up because I did not follow these instructions:
