i have been very busy as of late, i am currently doing a major rewrite of the code. i will try to get to it over my spring recess.
|
i have the right vbuleltin version but i get this error
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/exist/public_html/ride/includes/functions.php on line 2018 i re-uploaded a backup of functions.php and the site wprked again, so i edited the file again and everything it asked me to find i found and replaced what it asked me to, i dont understand why its not working. |
I've been watching this script for a while and its been beta 3 for a bit of time now
AN-net is this version stable enough for a working forum (and non-technical admins) or should I keep waiting? |

I just managed to get it working, but I had to modify a bunch of include statements so they referred to the parent directories rather than the current directories. For the record, I'm running Linux; PHP v4.4.1; cgi; MySQL v4.0.25-standard; vBulletin 3.0.1 on the forum I installed it on. Maybe it's the version of vBulletin that has something to do with it, dunno.

Considering the superiority of the features of this version I going to try install 1.5 beta 3 very soon
I was hoping I could just wait for beta 4, so umm any ETA for beta 4? great work so far AN-net |
It'd be nice to have quick reply.. EA, even though you want to stay "seperate from the forums" (I got that from an earlier quote), it's just a standard option that'd be nice to see. Since so many other areas of our hacked vbulletins have quick reply, I don't see how having the option in journal can hurt.

Can anyone confirm whether you can add attachments to your journal posts. I know my members will want to be able to post images to their journals. If not, what alternatives are there, I'm still on vb3.0x

i dont know whats going on but i get permission error
|
heres my error on step 2 of the journalinstaller.php
Code:
Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on a non-object in /home/offthaa/public_html/forums/admincp/journalinstaller.php on line 36 |
