Then you didn't upgrade properly at some point as that was fixed a few versions ago. Reupload all files to the proper locations.

My bad ... I should o' tested it myself before posting.

I just tested it and it does work.

They were talking about the Ranks mod but posted it in the Awards mod thread.

Are you working on a release for VB5?

My previous reply to this question.

Question,

Do you have any plans to port this to vB5? We really like the features of vB5, but extensively use this plugin. It's one of the key things preventing us from upgrading.

Yes I do, but to be honest it isn't a high priority at the moment. I have a bunch of features and improvements I want to add to the vb4 version before considering porting it vb5.

i got some trouble. Everything works fine, just when i want to use awards.php it shows the normal forum and not the awards but the url is still /awards.php .
You can check it out on http://raptor-board.net
Any idea whats wrong?

edit: i run 4.0.3 version, i hope it works there too... is the only feature having trouble atm, showing awards in posts and admincp is fine...

You likely have a rewrite entry in your .htaccess (or equivalent) that is redirecting the page back to index.

Just now getting around to testing this out. Works fine but just one question:
When I go to approve the award and am taken to the 'add user award' panel. the userid value is that of the member who submitted the request and not the userid of the recipient. The name is correct. If I don't clear out the userid, the award goes to the member.
Is this a known problem? Or is this just the way it works.

You didn't upgrade to 4.0.6 properly as that bug was fixed in the most recent version. Make sure you upload all files to the correct locations, paying close attention if you've renamed admincp and/or modcp.

Will not go into a long explanation, but you are 100% correct. Will get 4.0.6 installed again on both my test and live-to-be sites. And wear my glasses next time. :D You even stated that in the 4.0.6 bug fixes.

So which ZIP file do I need to download from those to get this award system mod?
