Newbie question, maybe, but what does "reinitialize chatbox modified templates" in the upgrade instructions mean?

PS - Thanks for a great product! My students love it!

If you have done modification to a template of the chatbox.

You need to revert the templates (select the template and then click on revert on the right :))

I installed backup file, couldn't wait :)
I don't know why I never remember to use a test board I installed.

Anyway,
I don't see any of the new features in admin panel:
Like:
"Option to deactivate the random smilies."
for example.

And I am still the only one in chatbox when checking who's online.
Edit: I just noticed who's online is in To Do list.
