Can you post the exact error message you are getting? I'm sure that will help people who know about this mod to help quicker. (or a link to your forum?)

Nevermind, I see your homepage in your profile... the error is:

Are you on shared hosting? is it possible you were close to your disk space or database max and this mod put you over the edge? Do you have some way to check available memory/disk space?

THANK YOU, BirdOPrey5 for your quick reply! I shortly discovered that all my other MySQL databases were offline as well, which meant I'd crashed MySQL. A restart of the MySQL service is all I needed. My apologies for the panic, but thank you again! :D

I was wondering if it would be possible to use this with another mod, such as vBdynamics. What do I have to edit to make it work, or would it be too difficult?

Thanks :)

Hello,

I recently updated to vB4, and now I continue to get this error when I try to edit some posts.

Code:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT id FROM ame_disabled_posts WHERE id=235740 and typeid=1;

MySQL Error  : Table 'vb40.ame_disabled_posts' doesn't exist
Error Number  : 1146

I don't have vBDynamics myself, but I do have vBAdvanced and it works fine with it. I don't know how vBD works, or if uses the same database tables as posting or what have you. It would depend on that and if the BBCode parser and basic vBulletin hooks are used during the process of posting.

As far as I know, AME 2.5 isn't compatible with vB4. You would need to see if you can upgrade to AME 3 do with the handful of built-in definitions for it.

The thing is, I don't even have AME installed anymore. :mad:

Odd, I had to comment out

PHP Code:

require_once(DIR '/includes/ame_prep.php');
/
$providers ame_data_preparse($pagetext);

from includes/functions_video.php

Apparently, you had made the temporary fix for AME 3 that The Geek has posted in that thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=608
