What is the problem?

make sure you spelled the username properly and that the amount chosen is within the amount you have

can someone explain to me what is the "award" option? what is it there for? i didnt understand it or does it only work with Reputation?

I have installed this mod and it is great. I want the credits to reflect the reputation points because am displaying the reputation points with little sayings depending on how many reputation points they have.

So can i get it so that the number of credits = reputation points

that way as the credits go up the reputation points go up?

You can set an award amount for reputation in the usergroup settings, and have it multiply against reputation points in the global award settings. if you set 1 credit per reputation and have it multiply, then they would get 1 credit for each reputation recieved

you mean the post award system? its kind of like what many people would call the admin donate system. that is, giving credits to someone without having it come out of your account. normally not a power you would want to grant to just anyone.

There are pro addons (paid) that are available for vBCredits (free). I suggest that you go over to www.vbcredits.com, sign up for the forums and Dark or PixelFX can help you out. They provide quick and excellent support.

that works well if you reward reputation points then it gives your credits. I want it to work in revers. So that if you get credits it then bumps up the reputation points. Is that possible or am i not seeing it.

Actually I want them to = each other.
Thanks for your help.

Darkwaltz4 01-10-2008 05:39 PM

No thats not possible. But if you wanted reputation to be the same as credits... why not just use reputation for stuff? You actually can if third party hacks allow you to specify a database row. You could even do it with post count!

Unless youre saying you want to use vbcredits as new ways to earn reputation..
