Hi,
I've migrated from phpBB2 so a bit confused, when it says..

2. Import the main product "product_vbexperience3715.xml"

How do I do that?

Welcome to vBulletin :)

First at all, please click Mark as Installed, thanks.

Second:
- Goto "ACP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products".
- Click "Add/Import Product".
- In the "Import Product" section, click the browse button and select the XML file
- Click "Import"

Same for Level.

If this does not happen, you are missing template hooks. Take a look at the default unmodifiec vbulletin templates.

The itemname is not interesting in this part. You will name the icon directly /misc/levels/icon_myitem.gif by filling the icon field with that value.
Please keep in mind that items in postbit are only shown if you purchased the item.

something that would be a really good feature for this is to be able to set how many rows of items to display and how many items in each row in postbit...

i see in shop settings that we can set how many can show, but no way to set how they can be displayed

would like to be able to show a lot of items in postbit...

options could be like

show items in postbit? ( ie. 50)

number of rows? (ie. 5)

number items per row? (ie. 10)

could this be something that could be done?

sounded really good to me...

if members are going to work to earn points to get the items, then why would they not want to display them in their posts, instead of having them hidden in their profile?

the way it is now, won't it just keep making one line of items? this means that not many can be displayed on postbit...

i use the living avatars and have a lot of space for items and it would be nice to be able to fill that space up with items :up:

hope you will consider adding the option for the rows and how many per row...

You can move the icons near signature, there you have so much more space.

yes, you can add a few more that way, but there is also a problem with how the items show in the profile when you have a lot of items...if there is not a way to break the rows then we are also limited to how many items the members can purchase :(
